China Academy of Fine Arts is a secondary college under China Academy of Fine Arts, which has a history of running design education for nearly 30 years and a good social reputation. The aim of the college is to train applied, professional, skilled and entrepreneurial senior art and design talents with market demand as the guide and students as the goal. Adhere to the school-running characteristics of "basing on modern art design, developing urban clothing design and inheriting arts and crafts design".

The major setting of the college closely follows the two themes of the development of the times and market demand, and pays attention to the close cooperation and interaction with industry enterprises, and pays attention to the cultivation of students' innovative thinking ability, practical ability, vocational adaptability and employment and entrepreneurship ability. After graduation, students will receive a nationally recognized diploma of higher vocational education issued by China Academy of Fine Arts.

College is the teacher training base of Zhejiang Arts and Crafts Secondary Vocational School designated by the Ministry of Education. It is also a national vocational skill training base for special types of light industry, and a governing unit of the Arts and Crafts Branch of the Art Design Professional Steering Committee of higher vocational colleges of the Ministry of Education.

The college now has five departments: graphic design department, industrial design department, special technology department, environmental art department and film animation department; * * * 14 major and direction: multimedia design and production, visual communication art design (film and television advertisement), visual communication art design (graphic design), product modeling design (furniture design), product modeling design (household ceramics), decorative art design (jewelry design), decorative art design (glass design), sculpture art design and art design.
