Jialing River Art Museum is located in the northeast of the intersection of the second section of Zhenjiang West Road and Yi Tong Road Commercial Street in Shunqing District, Nanchong City. Jialing River Art Museum is the first public welfare private art museum in northeast Sichuan and one of the earliest private art museums in second-tier cities in southwest China.

The tombs, palaces or temples of royal families and nobles in China, Egypt, India, and the two river basins, where ancient civilizations originated, are not filled with all kinds of jewels and treasures, which can be regarded as the earliest art collection of mankind. However, the evolution from private collections to open art museums for public visits began in the West.
