Occupation grade:

This professional type of work is currently divided into two grades, namely:

☆ Intermediate diamond inspector (national vocational qualification level 4)

☆ Senior Diamond Inspector (National Professional Qualification Level 3)

Training time:

☆ Spare time of intermediate diamond inspector 1 month and a half.

☆ Spare time of intermediate diamond inspector 1 month and a half.

Training content:

Crystal-to-crystal symmetry, physical properties of mineral crystals, basic knowledge of crystal mineralogy; Basic gemological characteristics of diamonds; Diamond inspection (rough stone, finished product, artificial diamond, imitation diamond); Diamond classification and diamond mineral resources; Basic knowledge of diamonds such as diamond processing; Diamond 4C grading (color, clarity, cut, weight), simulation test explanation, pre-test counseling, simulation test, etc.

Application conditions:

Intermediate diamond inspector: (one of the following conditions)

(1) Having been engaged in this profession for more than 3 years continuously, receiving formal training at the intermediate level of this profession and reaching the required standard hours, and obtaining a graduation (completion) certificate.

(2) Engaged in this occupation for more than 6 years.

(3) Obtaining a junior college diploma in jewelry and jade (including rocks and minerals) or related majors.

(4) graduated from institutions of higher learning and secondary specialized schools and engaged in occupations (posts) corresponding to their majors.

Senior diamond inspector: (one of the following conditions)

(1) has obtained the intermediate level certificate of this occupation (type of work) for four years;

(2) obtain the intermediate level certificate of this occupation (type of work) and pass the senior worker training;

(3) graduated from institutions of higher learning and obtained the intermediate level certificate of this occupation (type of work).

(4) Obtain a bachelor's degree certificate in jewelry and jade (including rocks and minerals) or related majors.
