China akoya seawater pearls are mainly distributed in Nanhai, Hepu, Beihai and Zhanjiang of China. Tahiti black pearl is produced in the salt lake area of French Polynesia in the South China Sea. It is understood that there are two main natural producing areas of black pearls: one is Tahiti in French Polynesia, which produces 95% of the world's black pearls; Followed by Penglin Island and Majushiki Island in Cook Islands, accounting for 4% of the total output.
