It seems to be waving to you, welcoming guests from afar and old friends returning from abroad. Cross Longxing Street, climb the stairs and walk along the pagoda. This pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, with a height of 43 meters. Because Song Taizu once lived here, it was named after Longxing Tower. The tower is as white as jade, and bells are tied on eight cornices. The wind kisses the bells and jingles like beautiful music. Although the Hongfei Pagoda without Hongtonggao is better than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi, Longxing Pagoda has its own secrets. There is an inscription on one side of the tower, and the top of the tower smokes repeatedly, which is a wonder of the world and a mystery of the world. In this regard, it was clearly recorded a hundred years ago that "during the Guangxu period (1899), smoke rose from the top of the tower and rose into the sky". Later, in the forties, sixties and seventies, there were wonders of smoke rising. The most recent time was in August of 1993, when smoke rose again on the tower, attracting tens of thousands of people from three provinces, eight counties and cities. Why does the tower smoke? Domestic experts have repeatedly proved it, but they can't understand it. In the 1970s, there was a puff of smoke, and it was concluded that mosquitoes were nearby. A resident under the tower climbed the iron ladder of the tower alone. He took a piece of white cloth soaked with honey, patted it where it was smoking, and then flew down to the bottom of the tower.
