There are two murderers in this case because Jacqueline really loves Simon, so she is willing to do anything for him, including murdering her good friend. Simon killed Rinnet and Jacqueline killed Louise and Booker at the same time. Louise saw Simon and Booker killed Louise because she saw Jacqueline. Simon has always insisted that he is innocent. From the beginning, he created the illusion of being shot, and Poirot was there when he interrogated others, so on the surface, he didn't have time to kill anyone at all. Jacqueline has always played an important role here. Simon and Jacqueline planned everything from the beginning, and together they created an alibi for the original murder. This design is very clever.
Unfortunately, the 2022 version here is obviously not as good as the 1978 version of the film. It is more natural and hidden in that version of the film. Even if I watch that paragraph repeatedly, I feel that everything there is too natural, especially though the camera shakes on the clock a few times, giving the audience the impression that you know the atmosphere is wrong, but you can't find a flaw. The composition of the new performance looks thick and rough, and the plot is obviously not as good as the old one.
Why did Jacqueline deliberately show Poirot her gun?
Jacqueline told Poirot that she had a gun with which Simon killed Rinnet. She showed it to Poirot. At that stage in The Massacre on the Nile, Rinnet began to suspect that Jacqueline might kill her, because Simon betrayed her and married Rinnet, while Jacqueline still loved Simon, and she was willing to be loved at all costs. But it can also be seen that Jacqueline was still somewhat contradictory at that time, which is why she showed Poirot the gun. In fact, it is enough for her to follow Simon and Jacqueline like a stalker. The whole plan does not require her to show her gun in advance.
