1. Entry requirements for diploma courses:

(1) Age 16 years old and above.

(2) You must have a high school or junior college diploma or equivalent in Cambridge, Singapore, including English (high school can also apply).

(3) You must pass the entrance examination and interview in our college.

(4) Those who have relevant education or experience in the reported subjects are preferred.

(5) You must obtain a TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS level 5, or equivalent.

(6) Those who fail to meet the above standards, but have artistic potential and are admitted to the college, must meet the requirements within the first year of studying in Nanyi, or they will not enter the second academic year.

(7) In order to help students get TOEFL 500 or IELTS 5, students can take extra-curricular elementary, intermediate and advanced English courses.

(8) Other conditions: Applicants majoring in music are required to submit a recent video CD containing two classical music works with different styles. At the same time, you need a letter of recommendation written by a tutor majoring in musical instruments.

(1) Applicants must have a diploma in Southern Art or equivalent.

(2) Applicants must have a TOEFL or IELTS score of at least 550.

Nanyang Art College, also referred to as Nanyi, was formerly known as Nanyang Art Institute of Technology, which was founded in 1938 by a group of enthusiastic artists and art educators. Nanyang Art College is the oldest comprehensive art school in Singapore, and the first comprehensive art school in Singapore to receive funding from the Ministry of Education and provide government grants for international students.

There were only 14 early pure art students in Nanyang Art College. In the past 60 years, Nanyi has been a representative art school in this region. It has not only contributed to the visual arts in Singapore, but also trained many artists in this region.
