If the staff of the Lost and Found Center finds the lost property to be true after checking the information of loss reporting and recovery, it shall immediately notify the loss reporting person to claim the lost property with his ID card or other valid documents. Whoever entrusts others to collect the lost property shall claim the lost property with the power of attorney of the owner, the identity cards of the owner and the consignee or other valid documents.
If valuables are unclaimed for more than 18 months and general items are unclaimed for more than 2 months, the lost and found center will make an announcement through local mainstream media newspapers, and the lost and found items that remain unclaimed within 6 months from the date of announcement will be submitted to a third-party agency for evaluation. The proceeds from the auction of valuables will be reported to the detachment and turned over to the financial department, and the living items with low evaluation value will be donated to national public welfare organizations to carry out public welfare poverty alleviation activities.

After receiving the lost property, the lost and found center will keep it in the following time categories according to the nature of the lost property:
(a) perishable, corrosive food, fresh goods lost custody for 3 days. Including fresh meat, poultry, livestock, fish and shrimp, seafood, seafood, frozen food and so on.
