Trademark Registration: What are the categories of trademarks?
What categories do trademarks include? This issue of Bian Xiao will introduce trademark categories based on trademark structure. Interested friends may wish to know about it. 1. word mark: a trademark composed only of characters, including China Chinese characters and minority languages, foreign languages and Arabic numerals, or a trademark composed of various languages; 2. Graphic trademarks refer to trademarks composed only of graphics. Among them, it can be divided into: (1) mark trademark: refers to a trademark with a simple symbol to form a pattern; (2) Geometric graphic trademark: a trademark composed of abstract graphics; (3) Natural graphic trademark: it is a graphic trademark that takes people, animals and plants, natural scenery and other natural objects as objects. Some are trademarks made of physical photos, and some are natural graphics that have been processed, refined, summarized and exaggerated; 3. Alphabetic trademarks: the smallest writing unit of pinyin characters or phonetic symbols, including trademarks composed of pinyin characters and foreign letters such as English letters and Latin letters; 4. Digital trademarks: trademarks consisting of Arabic numerals, Roman numerals or Chinese capital numerals; 5. Three-dimensional mark trademark: also known as three-dimensional mark, it is a trademark mark composed of three-dimensional marks of length, width and height. It is different from the trademark patterns we usually see on the plane, but appears in the form of three-dimensional substances, which may appear in the shape of goods or in the containers or other places of goods. This is a new content added in the newly revised Trademark Law of 200 1, which will make China's trademark protection system more perfect. 6. Color combination trademark: A color combination trademark refers to a trademark formed by arranging and combining two or more colors. A trademark composed of words, patterns and colors is not a color combination trademark, but a general combination trademark; 7. Combined trademark (1 ~ 6 or above): a trademark composed of two or more components, also known as a composite trademark; 8. Audio trademark: a group of music composed of notes or a trademark that uses a special sound as a commodity or service is an audio trademark; 9. Smell trademark: Smell trademark is a trademark that distinguishes different goods and services with a special smell.
