Looking for the story of Meng Guang and Hongliang.
Legend has it that Meng Guang is black, fat and vulgar. Strong enough to easily unlock the stone locks of generals and warriors, they are regarded as uncontrollable savages, and their families are prepared not to get married. But there is still a matchmaker to match Meng Guang with an ugly man. Meng Guang said: "I only marry Hongliang, and no one else will marry!" Hongliang was a great celebrity at that time. His articles were excellent, elegant and charming, and he was handsome. It is said that many beautiful women suffered from monogamy for him at that time. Therefore, Meng Guang's words to the matchmaker were handed down as jokes by Chinese people for some time. But Hongliang took a fancy to Meng Guang's character and decided to marry Meng Guang. When she first got married, Meng Guang was happy to wear gorgeous clothes and gold and silver jewelry. But Hongliang frowned and ignored his wife. Meng Guang asked Hongliang, "I admire your high aunt and marry you. Why are you giving me the cold shoulder? " Liang Hongdao said, "I heard that you are famous for your virtue. I didn't expect you to dress up so well. This is not my wish. " Meng Guang blushed with shame and immediately changed her clothes. Since then, he has worked hard, helped Hongliang everywhere, and the husband and wife love each other. Hongliang doesn't like officialdom fighting and doesn't want to be an official. So Meng Guang hid in Baling Mountain with him, and lived an idyllic life in which men plowed and women wove, and recited poems and wrote books for their own amusement. Once, Hongliang passed by Luoyang, saw the splendor of the palace and thought of the people's hard work. He couldn't help feeling deeply, criticizing the failure of state affairs because of his five songs. When Emperor Zhang Han knew this, he flew into a rage and arrested Hongliang. Hongliang had to remain anonymous and fled with Meng Guang. They first arrived in Shandong, then crossed the Huaihe River and the Yangtze River, all the way to Wudi. Because he admired Taber's high wind, he settled in Tieshan, Taber's cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Hongliang work at sunrise and rest at sunset. They lead a hard life, but they sing and respect each other like guests. Legend has it that when Hongliang came home from work every day, Meng Guang always cooked the food, raised the plate to the height of his eyebrows with his hands, and sent it to Hongliang to invite him to dinner. This is the origin of the allusion "Take Qi Mei as an example" and it has become an eternal story. Mr. and Mrs. Hongliang live in Wuxi in seclusion and often wander between mountains and rivers, praising the beauty of mountains and rivers, expressing their feelings and worrying about the sufferings of the people. It is said that Hongliang wrote more than 1000 books (many of which have been lost today), and also helped the people of Wuxi to build water conservancy projects and dredge Huishan Xi Gu. This is the origin of Wuxi, also known as "Liangxi". In order to thank and remember the couple, people changed Tieshan to "Hongshan" and called their former residence in Hongshan Tiejian Temple "Hongyintang", which still exists today.
