The view of Jiu Feng in Kowloon is very precious. As early as 2002, it was designated as one of the cultural relics forbidden to go abroad for exhibitions. Why is there such a high honor in the field of cultural relics? First, it is still very well preserved; Second, because the material of rockhopper itself is very expensive; Third, and most importantly, it has a super-high historical position. It is the phoenix crown of filial piety queen in Ming Dynasty (second only to Ming Shenzong, and the longest reigning queen in China history).

Kowloon Jiufengguan, as the name implies, means that there will be Kowloon and Jiufeng in the Fengguan. Kowloon is in front of the rockhopper, made of gold, with eight golden phoenix beside it and one at the tail of the rockhopper. Both Jinlong and Jinfeng have beads in their mouths. When they walk, they can shake like stepping on steps. Both movements are beautiful.

The crown is made of lacquer bamboo, and the surface is covered with silk and silk fabrics. In addition to the nine phoenixes in Kowloon, there are many rubies and sapphires on the crown, and more than 5,000 pearls, which can be described as resplendent and rich.

This kind of crown is also assembled by various techniques, such as threading, filigree, inlay and trimming. Among them, the most difficult thing is to be stained with green, because there are many styles that need to be stained with green, such as Cuifeng, Cui Hua and Cui Yun. And the shapes of these styles are also very complicated, but the effects are excellent. Look carefully, every stroke is carefully crafted. It can be seen that this crown has high scientific and technological value.

This crown was found in the underground palace of Ming Dingling in 1957. When it was discovered, the coffin of the filial piety queen was still very well preserved, so we can see such a complete rockhopper. More than 2,000 cultural relics were unearthed in the underground palace, including clothing fabrics, gold, silver, bronze, porcelain and jade, and of course many jewels and coins. The crown of Jiu Feng in Kowloon is one of the cultural relics unearthed at this time, but when it was first discovered, the pearls on the crown were scattered all over the floor, and it was after the restoration of archaeologists that the present appearance of Jiu Feng in Kowloon was formed.
