In the process of unifying Mongolia, Temujin brought back rich materials from all over the country for his tribe. He asked the camel team and the cattle team to transport a lot of valuable fabrics, bind the goods with silk, or use silk as packaging material. Among all kinds of materials, there are robes decorated with gold and silver thread, silk slippers sewn with pearls, carpets, wall hangings, pillows, cushions and blankets, as well as silk shoulder straps, knitwear, tassels and ribbons. Besides silk and satin, Temujin also brought back lacquerware, paper fans, porcelain bowls, metal armor, bronze knives, puppets, tin cans, copper pots, board games and carved saddles, as well as handmade hair ornaments and jewelry made of emeralds, pearls, agates, corals, lapis lazuli, jadeite, diamonds, ivory or tortoises, and wine.
