First, the origin of Jin Zhu
Gold pearls are mainly produced in Myanmar, New Guinea, India, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, China, Thailand and other places. There are two kinds of golden pearls: white lips and golden lips. Because of its huge size, it can cultivate 9 ~ 16 mm white or golden Nanyang pearls.
Second, the place of origin
White Nanyang pearls have been cultivated in Myanmar for about 50 years. While producing white pearls, golden pearls are also produced. It is reported that the best quality gold pearls were produced about 15 years ago. In order to meet the world's demand for white pearls, the cultivation of golden pearls was stopped and white Nanyang pearls were produced. Malaysia used to produce the best quality gold pearls, but now it has stopped.
Japanese golden pearls are produced in Okinawa around Amami Island. Okinawa was originally a breeding ground for seawater pearls. The pearls produced in Okinawa are quite different from those produced in other countries, which are quite distinctive and slightly copper green.
Australia is a rising star in cultivating white Nanyang pearls. At present, it has become the country with the largest output and income of white pearls in the world, and also produces gold pearls. The pearls in this area range from pale yellow to golden yellow.
In Hainan, China, there are not only marine pearl Nanzhu cultured by Malpighian shellfish, but also white-lipped shellfish and black-lipped shellfish, as well as cultured white and black Nanyang pearls. Thus providing the basic conditions for the production of gold pearls.
At present, although the golden pearl is produced in Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan, China, Australia and so on. Generally speaking, golden pearls are symbiotic or associated with white Nanyang pearls. Only Indonesia is the only country in the world that independently cultivates golden pearls.
Third, the market
Because golden pearls are difficult to cultivate, the output is very small, and there are few golden pearls that can be used. It is very difficult to choose a symmetrical golden pearl necklace from many pearls, which often takes 6 months to 12 months. Indonesia mainly produces yellow and golden pearls, accounting for only 4% to 8% of all white Nanyang pearls. At present, the annual output of Nanyang pearls in the world is 2250 kg, and the theoretical output of gold pearls in the world is only 1000 kg, so only1000 gold pearl necklaces can be made. It can be expected that the price of gold pearls will continue to rise.
Gold pearls are expensive and produced in relatively small quantities. If you have breeding technology, you can try breeding.
