At present, the economic benefits of 3D printers are hard to say, because they have just started and are not widely used, and they need to be jointly developed. In the current market, everyone knows this thing and thinks it is very useful, but they just don't know how to use it. . . .
In the case I am in contact with now, it is mainly used in
1, the school's industrial design, students can make their own products more conveniently. In the past, the production process was too troublesome, and many colleges and universities only designed things that were not produced. Now it is very convenient to make it with a 3D printer, and it also saves a lot of production costs.
2, factory proofing design, we contact the shoe factory, stationery factory, will use 3D printer to make samples.
3, daily life applications, dolls and so on. . .
I think it is not the product that restricts the development of 3D printers, but the technology and 3D data input. There are two data input methods:
1, 3D scanning, provided you have something to copy.
2, 3D modeling, provided that you can model.
Because many people can't model and output code. Of course, the major of mechanical engineering or industrial design is an exception and is compulsory.
It's probably as simple as that. Interested parties can contact me for details.
