On December 13th, the 14th year of the first Crown Prince Kangxi (1675), Emperor Kangxi, who was only 22 years old, visited the Hall of Supreme Harmony. Referring to the "official system" of the Han nationality, Yin Yong, the eldest son who just turned one year old, was appointed as the Crown Prince, "emphasizing the unity of all ages and being the heart of the four seas" (Volume 58 of Qing Sheng Shi Lu). The establishment of Zhan and Shi. Zhan's family is the central organ, with Zhan's family as the main official, with one or three levels in Manchu and Han (equivalent to the deputy ministerial level). He was originally a literary attendant and Japanese lecturer of the Emperor. Twenty-five years after Kangxi (1686), Zhan Bin and others became the teachers of the Crown Prince and the masters of his study.
Prince Education Emperor Kangxi paid special attention to the growth of the Crown Prince and devoted more efforts to the education of all princes. When the prince was young, Emperor Kangxi began to teach him personally: "I taught the four books and five classics for the East Palace in the palace. Before I listen to the government report every day, I have to recite and repeat the book I gave the day before, so that I can get used to it. " (Zhang Naiwei, Ren edited The Story of the Qing Palace) The prince was a little longer, and Emperor Kangxi taught him the way to govern the country. The Pope's prince followed the example of his ancestors and adhered to the inheritance; He also teaches classics and history, learns historical experience, observes people's hearts and takes him out for inspection.
At the age of 6, the Crown Prince entered the school as an apprentice, and Zhang Ying, Li Guangdi, Xiong Cilv, Tang Bin and other famous Confucianism teachers served as the Crown Prince's teachers. When the Crown Prince 13 years old, Emperor Kangxi officially let the Crown Prince get married and study, imitating the practice of the East Palace education in the Ming Dynasty, and repeatedly explaining the classics to the Manchu and Han ministers in the Wenhua Temple.
The crown prince is talented and has made rapid progress in his studies. History book: Crown Prince "Manchu Chinese characters are fluent, riding and shooting are exquisite, and he is lucky from the top, and he sings brilliantly" (Draft of Qing Dynasty, Volume 220, Biography of Wan Yun). And the body is strong, the facial features are correct, and the appearance is good, which is very popular with Emperor Kangxi.
In thirty-five years (1696) and thirty-six years (1697) of Kangxi, Emperor Kangxi personally went to galdan for three times and was not in Beijing for more than ten months. He ordered the 22-year-old Crown Prince Yin Yong to sit in the capital to handle court affairs: "Acting as a suburban sacrifice; Each department writes the paper and listens to the crown prince; This matter is important, and ministers have agreed to enlighten the Crown Prince. " (Records of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty 17 1)) Because the Crown Prince did his duty, "anyone who raises the DPRK is called the goodness of the Crown Prince" (Records of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, volume 234). Emperor Kangxi was also very satisfied. He said to the crown prince's Zhu Pi: "The crown prince asked me thoroughly and in detail, and wanted to know everything clearly, just like my heart." I am very happy. And you live in the capital, dealing with government affairs, such as Taishan solid, so I am outside, carefree, idle, idle for many days. How can I count on this? My blessings are earned by doing good deeds! I won't tell anyone about the people I met here. Because you are filial to your father, everything is sincere. I hope you are a little older, and your descendants will be so filial and respect you. Because I know everything is cautious, I send this book. " During this period, the Crown Prince has entered his youth, and Emperor Kangxi began to exercise him in practice, fully trusting him and placing high hopes on him.
At this time, Emperor Kangxi himself entered middle age, and the princes gradually grew up. In March of the thirty-seventh year of Kangxi (1698), Emperor Kangxi conferred the titles of adult princes as county king and Baylor respectively, among which the eldest son of the emperor was named king of Duoluo county, the third son of the emperor was named king of Duoluo county, the fourth son of the emperor, the fifth son of the emperor, the seventh son of the emperor and the eighth son of the emperor were all. Feudal scholars participated in state affairs and assigned assistants, each with his own subordinates. The enfeoffment of the Crown Prince has relatively weakened the power of the Crown Prince, which is another test for the Crown Prince. At the same time, the powerful old princes intensified the contradiction with the Crown Prince, and the * * * of the princes and their henchmen targeted the Crown Prince and the emperor. Therefore, the contradiction between the emperor and Chu Jun, the princes and the crown prince became complicated and intensified.
After Emperor Kangxi of Suoetu Party appointed Yin Ren as the Crown Prince, there appeared two major political forces in North Korea: supporting the Crown Prince and opposing the Crown Prince. Suoetu, the leader of the Emperor *, was the son of Sony, the chief assistant minister of Kangxi's childhood, the uncle of Empress Xiao Chengren, the uncle of the Crown Prince, a university student, and the minister in charge of guards. He was once one of the most trusted ministers of Emperor Kangxi. In the 28th year of Kangxi (1689), he served as the chief representative of China in the Sino-Russian border negotiations, advocated the return of Nebuchadnezzar Chu and Chahar to the Qing Dynasty and signed the Sino-Russian Nebuchadnezzar Chu Treaty. But he later fell into the whirlpool of contradictions between Emperor Kangxi and the Crown Prince. In May of the 42nd year of Kangxi (1703), Emperor Kangxi ordered Zongren mansion to detain him on charges of "discussing state affairs and organizing a party to act rashly" and died in a secluded place soon. Emperor Kangxi also ordered that Suoetu's sons be arrested and given to his younger brother Xin Yu and Magic Weapon, and ordered: "If there is no trouble, Xin Yu and Magic Weapon are the heads of the family!" Ministers Marthoud, Elkuli, Dai Wen, Shao Gan, Bao Tong, etc. He was also jailed for attaching a claim to the party. "All the ministers in the Ministry and the descendants of their ancestors took away their officials. Jiang Huangjia had a private book about money, so he went to the Ministry of Punishment to talk about death (Draft of the Qing Dynasty, Volume 269, Biography of Money). In other words, as long as the claim map is slightly involved, it will be implicated.
It was not until five years later that the Crown Prince was abolished that Emperor Kangxi clearly explained: "In the past, Soto helped Iraq and secretly sought great things. I know his situation and put Soto to death. " (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, Volume 234) When the Crown Prince was abolished for the second time, Emperor Kangxi made it clear that the root of the Crown Prince problem was Sottu: "Pride gradually increased. Suoyetu is the first sinner in this dynasty! " (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty (Volume 253)) That is to say, Suo Tu Tu's crime lies in marrying the emperor, spoiling the Crown Prince and plotting to usurp the throne. Therefore, Emperor Kangxi severely punished Soto and weakened consorts, which sounded the alarm for the Crown Prince.
In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708), the contradiction intensified. On May 11th, Emperor Kangxi visited the Great Wall and ordered the Crown Prince, eldest son, thirteen sons, fourteen sons, fifteen sons, sixteen sons, seventeen sons and eighteen sons to accompany him. Several things happened during the tour, which intensified the contradiction between Emperor Kangxi and the Crown Prince.
The first thing. Princes such as Yin Gui who opposed the Crown Prince reported many bad behaviors of the Crown Prince to Emperor Kangxi. For example, he was said to be violent and heartless, beating kings, Baylor and ministers at will, and even soldiers were "rarely poisoned by it" (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, vol. 234), and he also intercepted Mongolian tributes, indulged his wet nurse husband, and Lingpu, the head of the internal affairs office, blackmailed his subordinates. All kinds of unkind performances made Emperor Kangxi very dissatisfied. Some of these reports were untrue, but Emperor Kangxi believed them. Most importantly, he was not only annoyed by the atrocities of the Crown Prince, but also dissatisfied with the offside of the Crown Prince. He believes that the Crown Prince's behavior is: "If you want to divide me, you can do whatever you want." (Record of the Holy Father in Qing Dynasty, Volume 233)
The second thing. On the way to Emperor Kangxi's lucky trip, Emperor Yi Yin, who just turned 7 years old 18 years old, suddenly fell ill. Emperor Kangxi was very anxious, but the Crown Prince was indifferent. On the one hand, Emperor Kangxi loved the young emperor's eighteen sons, on the other hand, he recalled something that had troubled him for more than ten years: in July of the 29th year of Emperor Kangxi (1690), on the eve of the war of the unification of Ulan, Emperor Kangxi went to the fortress and fell ill on the way, so that the third son of the Crown Prince and Emperor Chiyi could meet him. Yin Yong went to the palace to pay tribute to the emperor's father. When he saw that Tian Yan had lost weight, he didn't care about Qi, and there was nothing to comfort him. Emperor Kangxi thought that the Crown Prince "had no loyalty to your father" and asked him to return to Beijing first (Volume 147 of A Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty). Yin Geng, who was only 16 years old at that time, probably didn't realize the emperor's dissatisfaction at all, but Emperor Kangxi thought it showed that the crown prince was unfilial and unbearable to be reused. Later, Emperor Kangxi abolished the Crown Prince and said that tolerance for 20 years was the starting point. It can be seen that this incident left a deep impression on Emperor Kangxi. When your father is ill, the crown prince doesn't care. Now that my brother is ill, he is still so indifferent. Emperor Kangxi angrily blamed the Crown Prince: "I am a brother and have no intention of being friendly." However, the crown prince not only refused to accept criticism, but also became "furious" ("Records of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty", volume 234). This incident made Emperor Kangxi feel that the Crown Prince was really heartless and lacked the heart of benevolence and righteousness.
The third thing. On his way back to Beijing, Emperor Kangxi found the Crown Prince peeping through a gap near his tent at night, and immediately suspected that the Crown Prince might "rebel". This incident also stimulated Emperor Kangxi to make up his mind and immediately abolish the Crown Prince.
In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708), on the fourth day of September, Emperor Kangxi summoned the king, ministers, guards and civil and military officials to the palace in Bulhasutai, and announced the indictment against the Crown Prince with tears:
First, arbitrary power, abuse of power, beating kings, Baylor, ministers and officials at will;
Second, the extravagant people, who are far more satisfied with food and clothing than the emperor, are not satisfied. If they take the state's money at will and send envoys to invite foreign princes to pay tribute, they will enter the imperial horse and take it at will;
Third, he is heartless to his brothers and tends to leave all the princes behind;
Fourth, doves gather their confidants to monitor me, obey orders and listen to my daily movements. Iraq approaches Bucheng every night, and the cracks peep inward;
Fifthly, in the past, demand figures helped Iraq to seek great things. I learned about it and put it to death. Today I will avenge Soto and form a clique. I don't know if I will be killed tomorrow, but I will be on my guard day and night, and there will be no peace (Qing Xian Lu, Volume 234).
After listing the crimes, Emperor Kangxi said: This unfilial and heartless man cannot be king.
Emperor Kangxi "lives and cries, as for servants." When I finished, I ordered Yin Yong to be arrested immediately (Volume 234 of A Record of the Saints of Qing Dynasty).
On the same day, in order to combat the influence of the Crown Prince Group, Emperor Kangxi ordered Soto's two sons, Gerfen, algie Shanhe, Yin Yong, Sirte, Hashtai, Salbana and others to "establish education".
On the same day, all eighteen sons of the emperor died. This is really a double whammy for Emperor Kangxi, and it is a heavy emotional blow. Emperor Kangxi had to abolish the Crown Prince for political needs. However, after being rejected, I was very sad. Resentment, disappointment, regret, distressed and complicated feelings were intertwined. For six days in a row, I didn't sleep well, and when I told the ministers about it, I was "sobbing" ("Qing Sheng Zhi", volume 234).
On September 16, Emperor Kangxi returned to Beijing. He was ordered to set up a felt tent next to the court where the emperor raised horses and lived for the Yin people. The emperor's fourth son, Yin Zhen, was ordered to guard with the emperor's eldest son. On the same day, Emperor Kangxi summoned ministers Jiuqing and James, as well as the kings, Baylor and other scientific and technological officials, and announced the arrest of the Crown Prince. On 18, Emperor Kangxi personally wrote a memorial to heaven, earth, ancestral temple and country. Xian 'an Palace, which will abolish the confinement of the Crown Prince, issued a letter to the whole world on the 24th.
The Crown Prince was established in the 14th year of Shen Kang (1675) and abolished in the 47th year of Shen Kang (1708), which lasted for 33 years. At this time, Emperor Kangxi was 55 years old and the Crown Prince was 35 years old. In order to train the Crown Prince, Emperor Kangxi took great pains. The abolition of the Crown Prince made Emperor Kangxi feel sad and tired. At this time, Emperor Kangxi has entered the old age, but his successor has become slim. He begged his ministers to say: two things happened at the same time: the death of the eighteenth emperor and the abolition of the crown prince, which was heartbreaking. You should look back and don't let anything happen again. However, Emperor Kangxi had too many sons and was in office for a long time. "Sleeping" and the princes have already formed several political groups with great interests. The struggle between them is not for houses, silver, jewels and land, but for the throne. The great temptation makes this struggle irresistible from the outside to the inside, from hidden to obvious, from slow to urgent, from warm to intense. Emperor Kangxi's move to abolish the crown prince not only failed to stop this struggle, but also made some princes seem to see hope, thus the battle for storage became more intense.
Third, Prince Early and Prince Phil.
Yin Ren was abolished, and the position of the Crown Prince became vacant. The princes immediately took an active part in the competition for reserve positions.
The benefits of the emperor's eldest son are: first, longevity; second, the former college student Pearl is his uncle; third, he is loved by the emperor's father. In order to compete for storage space, he took pains:
First, strive for growth. He misjudged the situation and thought that the official position of Emperor Kangxi would not be established, but it would be established.
But Emperor Kangxi knew his ambition. In the forty-seventh year of Shen Kang (1708), he was taken into custody on the fourth day of September. At the same time, he clearly declared: "I ordered Wang Yun, the ruler, to protect me, and I have no intention of making him the Crown Prince. If you allow yourself to be impatient and stupid, how can you become a crown prince? " (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, Volume 234)
Second, please kill Yun Yong. Yi Yin's profit made him dizzy. He even made a defense to kill Yi Yin, saying, "If you want to punish Yi Yin now, you don't have to come from the emperor's father." Emperor Kangxi was very surprised. He realized that Yi Yin and Yi Yin had formed a small group to seek a storage place, but he wanted to kill Yi Yin. If he succeeds, the consequences will be serious. Emperor Kangxi criticized Yin Ge for many times, pointing out his idea of killing his younger brother: it is not advisable to know the meaning of the monarch and the minister, not to think about the love between father and son, and not to obey the laws of heaven.
Third, I recommend Yin Gui. Seeing that he had no hope of seizing the store, Yin Zi wanted to recommend Yin Zi, the eighth brother of the imperial family who was closely related to him (Yin Zi was raised by Hui Fei, the biological mother of the eldest brother Yin Zi when he was young).
Fourth, create public opinion. Yin Guoli met with Zhang Mingde, creating public opinion for Yin State, saying, "Once an appointment is made with Zhang Mingde, it will be expensive in the future." Emperor Kangxi sent someone to trace Zhang Mingde's physiognomy and found that there were not only physiognomy, but also attempts to murder the Crown Prince.
Fifth, Yanzhen (y m 4 n). Yin Zhi, the third son of the emperor, revealed to Emperor Kangxi that the eldest son of the emperor had an association with a man who knew witchcraft. After investigation, it was found that Yin Ge killed Yin Yan by witchcraft and plotted to assassinate his own brother, and there was physical evidence. His mother, Hui Fei, came from humble origins and called Yin Ge unfilial. Please correct her. Emperor Kangxi could not bear to kill his son, so he made him king and imprisoned him for life, and distributed his coat collar and population to Wang Hong, the son of Yin Gui, the fourteenth son of the emperor, and Yin Gui, the eighth son of the emperor. At the same time, we should be alert to the strength growth of another consortium headed by Pearl.
The emperor's eight sons, Yin Ye, were smart and capable, and had great prestige in the DPRK, with numerous henchmen and huge momentum. After the abolition of Yin Yong, Yin Yong will hopefully become the Crown Prince. However, Emperor Kangxi discovered from physiognomy and other aspects that he was ambitious, and "his henchmen should get married as soon as possible", and he was unaware of Zhang Mingde's assassination of the Crown Prince. When I learned that Quinn was in charge of the internal affairs office, I wooed everywhere, trying to make a name for myself, and attributed all the favor and credit given to me by the emperor.
In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708) in September, Emperor Kangxi denounced the way of Ginza: "Yunyun Zuorou was treacherous and ambitious, linked with his subordinates and murdered Yunzuo. Since it has been exposed, it will be locked up and handed over to the deliberation room for trial. " Yin Gui told Yin Gui, the fourteenth brother of the emperor, that Yin Gui went to save Yin Gui. Emperor Kangxi was furious, drew his sword and put him to death. The kind and honest Emperor Woods Yin Qi stepped forward and knelt down to stop him. Emperor Kangxi was not very angry. This incident made the court malodorous (Qing Xian Lu, Volume 234). In the same year 1 1 month, Baylor was reinstated.
In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708),1month 14, Emperor Kangxi called all the military commanders in China to gather in Changchun Garden, and appointed one of the princes (except the eldest son of the emperor) as the Crown Prince, saying, "I will follow whoever talks." Emperor Kangxi means to re-establish the crown prince. Before the ministers elected the Crown Prince, Emperor Kangxi asked Li Guangdi how to cure the Crown Prince's illness. Trying to inspire the lieutenants and re-establish Yin Ren. Obviously, Yin Yong's illness was caused by the abolition of the Prince, so "he who tied the bell must be tied to solve the problem", so the remedy to the case is to re-establish. Li replied: "It is a blessing on earth to adjust slowly." In order to avoid trouble, Li Guangdi didn't tell anyone about it, so that in the election, ministers chose Yin Gui. The process of this election is: "On the day of the meeting, March arrived first, and then Zhang Yushu came in and asked,' Who is the consensus?' Ma Qi said that many people want to have eight brothers. Oh, I ordered March not to discuss it in advance, and March avoided it. The word "eight" is in Ling's and A's books. It was secretly shown to ministers, who then put it on Yu Yun's name, but not it. "("Qing Draft "Volume 287" Biography of Ma Su ") Ma Su is a university student, and Ling is the minister in charge of the guards and Yuan. Emperor Kangxi pointed out that the eight sons of the emperor had never dealt with political affairs; Recently, she has a guilty conscience, and her mother is from a humble background, so she is not suitable to be the Crown Prince (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, Volume 235). Emperor Kangxi sent a message to Li Guangdi, reminding him: "I was called in before, and Chen called me. Why didn't I say anything today? " At this time, officials suddenly realized.
Note that at this moment, Yin Zhen, the fourth son of the emperor, kept a low profile, watched, watched and waited for the right time.
Emperor Kangxi hated the prince's cronyism, internal and external collusion, serial up and down, and scheming for a big position. He said: "it is forbidden for princes to be crown princes, that is, thieves of the country."
When the prince's storage space was vacant again, the dispute between scholars became more and more fierce, which made Emperor Kangxi realize that in order to block the way for scholars to compete for storage space, this vacancy must be filled. In view of Bao Ginza's great influence and high voice in North Korea, Emperor Kangxi believed that it was only feasible to use his eldest son to resist. Later, he said, "The ministers promised to play May 8, and I was very helpless, so I let go of what was not allowed." (Records of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, Volume 26 1) Therefore, on the ninth day of March in the forty-eighth year of Kangxi (1709), the crown prince was re-established and officials were sent to worship heaven and earth, ancestral temples and states. The next day, the emperor's third son, the fourth son, Yin Zhen, the fifth son was named Prince, the seventh son, the eleventh son, the county king, the ninth son, the twelfth son and the fourteenth son. They were all named Beizi, and Baylor had been restored before. Emperor Kangxi tried to promote the unity of the Crown Prince and other scholars.
In fact, Emperor Kangxi realized again how untrue Wan Yun's accusation was. At first, he was most suspicious that Yin Gang tried to murder him. The Crown Prince complained: "If the Emperor Tai-huang says that I am different, I have everything except rebellion. I really don't have the heart." When Emperor Kangxi heard this, he didn't reprimand the Crown Prince. Instead, he thought it was reasonable and ordered the chain on the article to be removed (No.3 in the literature series, No.3 in Yinren).
Originally, since the abolition of the Crown Prince, Emperor Kangxi was deeply saddened and sleepless without tears. He recalled that on the day he was detained, "the sky suddenly fainted" and eighteen children died of illness; The day before entering Beijing, the wind whirled before driving; At night, I dreamed of my late grandmother, the queen mother, sitting in the distance without saying a word, and her color was very unhappy, which was different in peacetime; The queen also dreamed of being wronged by the Crown Prince (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, Volume 235). On October 19th, the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708), I visited Nanyuan, and I couldn't help but feel sad when I recalled the time when the Crown Prince and other brothers accompanied me. I finally fell ill on1October 23rd. After returning to the palace that day, he immediately summoned Ewing and told the courtiers about the summons, saying, "From now on, I will never mention the past again." (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty (Volume 235)) Since then, Yin Yong has been summoned frequently, and every time he is summoned, he will feel relieved.
In the forty-seventh year of Kangxi (1708),1month 15, Emperor Kangxi summoned Dahan, the prince of Horqin, the minister in charge of the Guards, the commander-in-chief of the Guards, the full university student and the ministers to the palace and personally announced to them: "The Crown Prince has lost his ears because of an evil spell. Because of the call of the left and right, I added the intention to adjust the treatment, and now it is good. " I ordered the imperial book to be read in public. The content of the decree is:
When I was in charge of Wan Yun, I didn't think of anyone at first. Because of what should be done, the whole country is bound by what I have done. Today, every time I think about the past, I don't release it in my heart. I observe it carefully one by one. Some match, and some don't match at all. I feel that my heart disease is getting better. Not only the ministers cherish it, but I also cherish it. Today, I am getting better and better, and I have been blessed by all the ministers. I have tried to protect my eyes, but I still teach from time to time so as not to leave me. Today, I don't want to be a crown prince, but I want to let the ministers know. I promise not to retaliate, but I can protect it. (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty (Volume 235)) This is a document of Zhao Xue, and its intention is very clear. It will be re-established as the Crown Prince. Emperor Kangxi demanded the abolition of the crown prince, princes, ministers, governors and guards. And further clarify the facts, saying that Yin Yong "was furious and hurt people, but did not cause death or interfere in state affairs" and "everything broadcast by Yi Yin was mostly false". Then, Yin Ren was released publicly. Yin Yong said: "The decree of the Holy Father is the most sacred and wise. I can't do anything. People are so sleepy. If you mistake the enemy of others and don't change the evils, God forbid. " (Record of the Holy Father in Qing Dynasty, Volume 235)
Although the crown prince was re-established, the original contradiction between the monarch and the reservoir was not solved, so the incident of severely punishing the emperor soon happened again. This time, it was the commander of the infantry, Tuo He Qi.
Punish Tuo He Qi and Tuo He Qi from humble origins. He was originally a member of Wang Qin's family, and later became the treasurer of Guangshan Treasury. He was regarded as the brother of Ding Ai and the uncle of twelve sons of Jin Yun, so he was trusted by Emperor Kangxi. In the forty-first year of Kangxi (1702), he served as the commander of the infantry.
In the fiftieth year of Kangxi (17 1 1), Tuoheqi was dismissed on the grounds of illness. At the same time, Roncodo was appointed as the infantry commander. Seven days after Tuoba GUI was dismissed, that is,1October 27th, Emperor Kangxi summoned the kings, Baylor, civil and military ministers in the arrow hall at the west gate of Changchun Garden, and announced: "All ministers have been used by me for fifty years. What will it mean if they are attached to the Crown Prince? " So he questioned Qi Shiwu, the minister of punishments, and Geng forehead, the minister of war. Everyone denied that they had formed a clique, and Emperor Kangxi ordered the lock to be remanded in custody (Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty, Volume 248). In addition, it was ordered that Tohzi, the commander of the dismissed infantry, be detained in Zongren House.
By April of the following year, Shen Tiansheng, Minister of Commerce, colluded with Ilsay, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Commerce. And took over the extra money case of Hulan Heshuo. Confessions obtained by torture: Qi Shiwu, the minister of punishments, took bribes of 3,200 yuan, Tuo, the commander of infantry, took bribes of 2,420 yuan, and Geng, the minister of war, took bribes of 65,432 yuan+2,000 yuan. This is a trivial figure in a major corruption case, but the punishment is particularly heavy because of the emperor's crimes. These three people, like Shen Tiansheng and Ilsay, all plan to be suspended and executed in the autumn. Qi Shiwu, the minister, was ordered to "die with five bodies nailed to the wall". According to the biographies of famous officials in the Qing Dynasty and Qi Shiwu, after being sentenced to strangulation, Qi was sent to Boduna and died in the second year of Yongzheng (1724). 1On October 29th, Yi Tuo He Qi "executed him immediately in the middle of the year" and died in prison soon, and ordered him to "file his body and raise it to ashes, and not bury it". Is to chop up Tuoba GUI's body, burn it and dust it. His main crimes are: sneaking into intelligence, pleading with Qi and others, and "guaranteeing" him to become an emperor as soon as possible with the help of his power (Record of the Saints of Qing Dynasty, Volume 250). In other words, it is the Crown Prince who intends to force the emperor's father to step down as soon as possible. So Emperor Kangxi was furious.
The contradiction between the Prince and Chu Jun was finally irreconcilable, and Emperor Kangxi decided to abolish the Crown Prince again. In the fifty-first year of Kangxi (17 12), on September 30, when Emperor Kangxi visited the Great Wall and returned to Beijing, he announced to his ministers: "Since the re-establishment of the 30 th Crown Prince Yun, his madness has not been eliminated, and he has lost the hearts of the people. His ancestors can't trust him. I heard about the Empress Dowager, and I am trying to arrest her and guard her. " On the first day of October, I reported the reasons to the kings, Baylor and ministers. To depose Yin Renzhu, there must be:
First, from the day of release, the grumpy heart will be revealed;
Second, for several years, the disease of madness has not been eliminated;
Third, it is impossible to distinguish right from wrong, which greatly loses people's hearts;
Fourth, you are ferocious in nature, and you form a party with bad villains.
Emperor Kangxi asked his ministers: "Everyone should give up his thoughts, devote himself to the Lord and enjoy peace." . If you ask the Crown Prince to turn over a new leaf in the future, you should be released and I will punish him. "(A Record of the Holy Father of Qing Dynasty (Volume 251)) On November 16th, the Crown Prince was dismissed and sent to worship heaven and earth, ancestral temples and country.
Emperor Kangxi deposed the Crown Prince for the second time. Although not as "dumbfounding" as he himself said, it was not as painful as the first time. Because he found it inevitable that there would be contradictions when he established the crown prince; It may be better not to have a crown prince, because it can reduce infighting for the crown prince. A few months later, given that some officials asked the Crown Prince to publish a book, Emperor Kangxi replied:
Song Renzong has not had a crown prince for 30 years. Emperor Taizong did not set up a crown prince in advance, nor did Emperor Taizong set up a crown prince in advance. Since the Han and Tang dynasties, the prince has been young and peaceful; If the prince is old, his left and right groups are small and selfish, and few people can do nothing. ..... Today's princes are not as knowledgeable as others, but they grow up year by year and are enfeoffed. Their subordinates sheltered their master. Even if it is established, can it be guaranteed that there will be nothing in the future? (Record of the Holy Father in Qing Dynasty, Volume 253)
After several brothers were frustrated one after another, Yin Gui, the fourteen sons of the emperor, actively searched for storage space. He flattered Corporal Li Xian, the minister. History has provided him with a good or bad opportunity. In the fifty-seventh year of Kangxi (17 18), Yin Gui was appointed General Fuyuan and conquered Alabotham, Wang Ce. Before the trip, Emperor Kangxi personally went to Tangzi to offer sacrifices; Seal the hall of supreme harmony; Yin Gui rode out of Tiananmen Square, and all the second-class kings and officials went to the barracks outside Deshengmen to see him off. Yin Gui is known as the "General King" and is marked by the yellow flag. Yi Yin said to Yi Yin, "If you achieve great success early, you will be crowned Crown Prince." It can be seen that both Yin Gui and Yin Gui regarded this expedition as an opportunity to seize the Crown Prince. However, when Emperor Kangxi died, Yin Gui happened not to be in the court, and his younger brother Yin Zhen succeeded to the throne. Therefore, it is not a good omen, but a bad news for Yin Gui to go to general print.
