Common names of display cabinets
In the production of display cabinets, there are many names that distinguish the types of display cabinets. The following are some proper terms for the production of display cabinets:
1. Gao Gui
Also known as the back cabinet, in the production of display cabinets, display cabinets whose height exceeds 180 cm are collectively called high cabinets. Those who stand against the wall are called back cabinets, and those who need to display products on both sides are called double-sided cabinets. Usually widely used in clothing display cabinets, leather display cabinets, shoe bag display cabinets. The height of high cabinets is generally 240 cm, because the commonly used board size is 120*240 cm. When making a high cabinet with a height of 240 cm, customers can arbitrarily increase the length of the display cabinet according to the needs of the venue or design style. However, if the height exceeds 240 cm, it is necessary to make joint plates, which not only increases the production cost, but also increases the production difficulty. This is because the back plate and side plate of the conjoined high cabinet are not made of single board, and the stability and bearing capacity of the display cabinet need to be considered when making, which will increase the damage of the manufacturing materials, glue and labor inside the display cabinet, so the price of the high cabinet above 240 cm will be higher than that of the ordinary high cabinet.
2. Low cabinet
Refers to the display cabinet with the same structure as the high cabinet, but the height is about 120 cm, and it can also be reliably displayed with walls and double-sided products as required.
3. Front cabinet
Refers to a showcase with a glass cover about 100*50* 100 cm long. The front cabinet with glass cover can effectively protect the exhibits. So it is usually used in jewelry display cabinets, jade display cabinets, gold display cabinets and silver display cabinets. The front cabinet can be equipped with LED spotlights, LED strip, ordinary spotlights and other lamps. The glass cover can also choose ordinary clear wave and ultra-white glass as needed, and whether it is tempered or not can also be chosen. The opening mode of the front cabinet has also developed from the earliest backward door to the drawer door with better production effect.
4. Corner cabinets
Refers to the display cabinets with excessive corners when two rows of front cabinets need to cross. The length and width of the corner cabinet are not large, but the glass cover is higher than the front cabinet, which can focus on displaying a single product and highlight the brand effect when doing the front.
5. Boutique cabinets
Refers to a display cabinet that can display products independently. Boutique cabinets are small in size, but they pay more attention to lighting and glass. This is because fine cabinets can not only highlight the unique taste and efficacy of products, but also greatly improve the exposure of manufacturers and brands. Compared with counters, boutique cabinets have the advantages of small size, convenient transportation and low price. Therefore, boutique cabinets are more suitable for product display of small and medium-sized enterprises.
6. Nakajima Cabinet
Also known as Nakajima shelf, it refers to a showcase placed in the middle of a shop for product display. The Nakajima cabinet is characterized by its low height, which is convenient for customers to take the exhibits. According to the different products, it is divided into clothing island cabinet and home appliance island cabinet. Island cabinets in clothing can generally be made of wood or iron, designed and made into a combination of modeling and splicing, such as the combination of height and size. The island cabinets in household appliances generally adopt double-sided design, with light boxes at the top, glass laminated plates in the middle and light poster light boxes on both sides.
