Exports are easy to send, and there are companies in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Yiwu, Foshan, Dongguan, Hong Kong and other places. You can usually receive the goods at home in the city. Fortunately, the freight is very cheap. About the process:
Amazon establishes the receiving documents in the background, obtains FBA ID, reference number and FBA label, boxes and labels the goods according to the results of warehouse division, and delivers them to the export-oriented warehouse. After the export-oriented warehouse processes the goods, they are shipped to the United States by sea, and then delivered to Amazon warehouse by trailer from American ports.
About customs clearance:
Logistics companies can cooperate to solve customs clearance problems if they are easy to export, but the tax reimbursement shall be subject to the tax collected by the customs.
Regarding the carton packaging requirements required by FBA warehouse:
1) The goods packed in cartons should contain only one PO slip. If a carton contains goods with multiple PO bills, it is necessary to ensure that a carton can only involve five PO bills at most;
2) The weight of carton packaging shall not exceed 23kg at most. If the weight of the goods sold in a single piece exceeds 23kg, a label of "Team Lifting" shall be clearly affixed on the carton, indicating that team operation is required; If the weight of the box exceeds 45kg, a label clearly marked "MechLift" should be attached to the carton, indicating that the machine is needed for operation.
3) The weight of cartons containing jewels and watches shall not exceed18kg;
4) The size of any side of the carton shall not exceed 63.5cm, unless the size of the commodity sold in a single piece originally exceeds 63.5cm. If the size of any side of the carton exceeds 63.5cm, it is necessary to put the carton on the tray of 1mX 1.25m, unless the size of the commodity carton sold in a single piece exceeds the size of the standard tray.
5) Cartons and packaging materials (such as gaskets and fillers) must fully protect the goods during transportation. If the goods are packaged with packaging materials not accepted by Amazon Operations Center, the goods will be rejected or additional packaging fees will be charged;
6) Use large-sized cushions, such as air pillows, whole paper, foam paper or bubble film, and do not use loose materials to fill them.
7) The carton size should be selected to ensure that there is at least free space in the carton after the goods are put in. Packaging multiple goods in a carton (without damaging the goods) can also maximize the use of space.
8) Cartons cannot be bound with packing tape, elastic belt and adhesive tape. We can't use large staples or nylon fiber tape because they have potential safety hazards for our warehouse colleagues. Cartons must use standard pallet stacking requirements;
9) Make sure that several cartons (such as suits) that are sold together and weigh more than 45kg must be put on a pallet (one commodity for sale corresponds to one pallet).
10) Carton goods (such as furniture) sold in a single piece weigh more than 45 kg and usually need pallets. Don't send cartons the same size as pallets.
Pallet packaging/palletizing requirements
1) Palletization of all LTL (less than truck load) and TL (truck load) goods is encouraged, but ground unloading and small shipment are also acceptable. In addition to container transportation, it is also necessary to build a firm and flat pallet top so that pallets can be stacked and the utilization rate of trucks can be improved;
2) When the cargo cartons are supported, the carton labels on the pallet should face outwards, so that the barcode on each carton can be directly scanned without disassembling the pallet;
3) Use GMA B-level or higher pallets, with dimensions of 1m x 1.25m, which are used on all sides, wooden pallets, and GMA 1A pallets are used for food. If 1m x 1.25m pallet is used, the edge of a single large commodity will exceed the pallet, so it is necessary to use a pallet with a size and model more suitable for the commodity;
4) Do not use damaged or missing trays; CHEP trays meet the standards of GMA grade 1A and 1B and are acceptable, but only applicable to food and personal care and beauty products. Amazon does not support the exchange and return of CHEP pallets;
5) Don't put the goods on the tray made of fragile materials, such as cartons or particleboard;
6) Don't put the delivered goods on PECO pallet, because they can't be moved by standard pallet elevator;
7) No matter what the allowed quantity is, only one SKU； can be stacked on a pallet;
8) When multiple SKUs are shipped on a pallet, separate the SKUs to avoid errors when receiving goods. Need to paste "mixed SKU" warning label on the tray;
9) The cartons stacked on the pallet should be flush on all sides, and bricks should be stacked as much as possible. It is suggested to pile the heaviest goods at the bottom;
10) Don't let the cartons exceed the edge of the pallet;
1 1) standard height of the pallet-the height of the pallet can be 127cm (short) or 254cm (high). Two short pallets can be stacked in two layers to form a large high pallet, but not all pallets are allowed to have any height. In order to maximize the use of freight car space, the double-deck stacking pallet has the highest freight efficiency. The pallet size is 127cm (the inventory is 1 14cm, and the pallet height is+13cm).
12) The pallet must be close to the standard height, which can allow gaps and stacking opportunities in the pallet. When the double-layer stacking tray cannot be stacked due to product characteristics, the height of the tray can be 272cm? (259cm cargo+13cm pallet height), the minimum clearance from the top of the pallet to the top of the container is 8cm (the standard trailer height is 280cm).
13) All goods over 183cm on the pallet must be approved by the operation of the squeezing pliers truck. If the goods can't be squeezed and clamped by the truck, this pallet can't be selected;
14) No matter what kind of pallet is selected, the gross weight of the pallet cannot exceed1500 lbs/680 kg;
15) Use wrapping film to support the carton, so as to ensure that the wrapping film completely covers the goods on the pallet, which can prevent the goods from moving during transportation and ensure the stability of stacked pallets during transportation. It is best to use a transparent stretch packaging film (relative to black). The use of gussets helps to protect and maintain the stability of cartons during transportation. Goods should be loaded on the pallet in a stable way, so that when the winding film is removed, the goods are not easy to fall over and will be stable on the pallet;
16) Double-deck stacking pallets are arranged, so that forklifts can enter the two pallets from the same side, and at least 8cm is kept between the pallet stacking and the container wall, and pallet goods sent to Amazon cannot be stacked together with other guests' pallets;
17) American warehouses do not support pallet exchange or loan return;
18) The shipping pallet of TL (truck loading) goods shall be in the "overturned" configuration. These are two rows of pallets. The width of the trailer is 48 inches/122cm and the length is 40 inches/102cm (as shown in the figure). This provides the best overall utilization rate and transportation stability.
