Throughout the 1990s, "crocodile" leather shoes swept the country, and there were more than a dozen different "crocodile" brands on the market, among which three were the most famous.
Crocodile (French crocodile)
LACOSTE, also known as French crocodile, was born in 1933, but it was the last of the "three crocodiles" to enter the mainland market. Because the Chinese translation of this brand "lacoste" is too awkward, it is customarily called "crocodile brand" or "French crocodile" in China. The logo is its green crocodile fish pattern. This "French crocodile" has a right head, a strong body, an open mouth and sharp teeth. However, LACOSTE's main products are POLO shirts, not crocodile shoes and crocodile belts that are more familiar to domestic compatriots.
2. Cutler (Cutler, crocodile in Singapore)
Compared with the French crocodile, the logo of Katile crocodile from Singapore is very similar, with almost the same shape, but with different head and tail orientations. Cartier Crocodile 1947 was founded in Singapore by Mr. Chen from Shantou, and 1993 entered the mainland. Because the logo is too similar to the Chinese translation, Katie Lai and the French crocodile lacoste "appealed to the court" many times, but finally shook hands.
In 20 16, Antarctic people bought Katile Crocodile for 600 million yuan, which made Katile brand become the same "OEM professional household" as Antarctic people, and embarked on a development road of selling only tags but not producing them.
Crocodiles (crocodile shirts, Hong Kong crocodiles)
Crocodile T-shirt and Katile can be understood as "the same root and the same origin". The founders of these two predators and Chen are brothers, but later one developed in Hong Kong and the other in Singapore, and finally the predators separated. Unlike the first two crocodiles, crocodile T-shirts are mainly leather shoes, which are rarely seen in big shopping malls.
