I. Introduction
The Sharpshooter is an action film directed by Lin Chaoxian and starring Huang Xiaoming, Richie Jen, Edison Chen and Lin Baoyi. It was released in Hong Kong on April 9, 2009.
The film tells the story of the confrontation between the most elite sniper of the police force and the sharpshooter who has just been released from prison.
Second, the plot
Jing Ling (Huang Xiaoming) is a born hunter. He hit every shot and didn't miss every shot. The most difficult position was easy for him, and he knocked down his opponent accurately. He was the first sharpshooter of the Hong Kong Police Sniper Team for four consecutive years. In the past four years, Jing Ling has maintained the first position, while Fang Keming (Richie Jen) has been ranked second for four consecutive years.
The boss and teammates praised Jing Ling's shooting skills. Later, he was promoted. However, Jing Ling, who always thinks highly of himself, never likes to deal with people. For him, it is enough to have the comfort and support of his wife Jingjing (Wang Xiulin). Crystal is the closest happiness in his life, but happiness is never inevitable.
An anti-bandits operation robbed Jing Ling of his happiness. Cold-blooded gangsters held 17 hostages in the jewelry store. Jing Ling aimed at the gangster's eyebrows through the sight of a sniper rifle. At the director's command, suddenly, the gangsters raised their hands. It turned out that they already had a Grenade in their hands, and they had to provoke the firing pin.
Jing Ling knew that the situation was urgent and could not wait any longer. Jing Ling shot. At this critical moment, a hostage beside the gangster suddenly jumped on the gangster. The bullet passed through the hostage and hit the gangster. The hostage was confirmed dead. The cause of death was that Jing Ling was shot, but it was the identity of the deceased and the only son of the city's richest man who pushed him to the brink of despair. The rich businessman chased after the police station and asked the police station to give him an account.
As a result, Jing Ling was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to four years' imprisonment. In prison, Jing Ling became more and more withdrawn. He hates people around him and hates himself even more. Every day, he was asked to sleep and eat with those vicious scum, which he felt was worse than death. For many years, Jing Ling didn't say a word to anyone in prison.
He learned to talk to himself. All grievances, resentment, unwillingness, pain, sadness and despair are told in front of the mirror of the cell.
