Import tariffs on precious stones and semi-precious stones have also been lowered to 10%. The import tariff of artificial jewelry made of undocumented materials was reduced from 35% to 18%, and the import tariff of alkali metal artificial jewelry was reduced from 17% to 8%.

Article 11? The customs shall calculate the tax according to the tariff number, customs value, country of origin, applicable tax rate and exchange rate of import and export goods.
Article 12? The customs shall determine the applicable tax rate of import and export goods according to the provisions of the Customs Regulations on the application of most-favored-nation tax rate, agreed tax rate, preferential tax rate, ordinary tax rate, export tax rate, tariff quota tax rate or provisional tax rate, and the application of anti-dumping measures, countervailing measures, safeguard measures or retaliatory tariffs.
Article 13 Import and export goods shall be subject to the tax rate implemented on the day when the customs accepts the declaration of import or export of the goods.
For goods imported for transit, the tax rate is applicable to the day when the customs at the place of departure accepts the goods for import declaration; If the goods are declared with the approval of the customs before arriving at the destination, the tax rate implemented on the day when the means of transport carrying the goods arrive at the destination shall be applied.
