Compared with ordinary printers, the working principle of 3D printers is similar, but the printing materials are different. Ordinary printers use ink and paper, while 3D printers use different materials such as metal, ceramics and plastic. By connecting with the computer, the 3D printer can stack the printed materials layer by layer, and finally turn the blueprint on the computer into a physical object. Therefore, 3D printers can print various real 3D objects, such as robots, toy cars and models.
There are many different types of 3D printing technologies that use different materials and layers to create parts. Commonly used 3D printing materials include nylon glass fiber, polylactic acid, ABS resin, gypsum, aluminum, titanium alloy, stainless steel, silver plating, gold plating and rubber materials.
