Chromaticity grade of diamond ring
The color of diamonds is mainly divided into: D colorless grade, which is the highest color grade; E is colorless, and only a few colors can be detected; Class f is colorless and has the smallest color; G grade is close to colorless grade; H-class is nearly colorless, slightly yellowish; I-J diamonds are slightly yellow; K-Z diamonds are obviously yellow.

Everyone knows that diamond rings are graded, so do you know what the standard is and what the knowledge points are? Come and have a look with me.

Diamond color classification

D grade: the highest grade in diamonds, pure and colorless, flawless, the rarest existence in diamonds, with strong rarity.

E-class: high-quality diamonds, colorless. Ordinary people can't see color from them. Only a few jewelry experts can distinguish colors.

F-grade: a high-quality diamond slightly lower than E-grade. Unless you are a jewelry expert, it is difficult to detect its color.

G~H grade: although it is close to colorless, compared with colorless high-quality diamonds, there is a slight yellowish layer inside.

Grade I ~J: It is still close to colorless, but it is slightly yellow inside, which is valuable.

K~M grade: most people can see the color clearly, and its own color is slightly dim, with low grade and poor fire color and luster.

However, this classification only exists in colorless diamonds and is not applicable to colored diamonds. Because of the variety of colors and different compositions in colored diamond, colored diamond seldom makes a detailed division.

Extended data:

1. If the color of the diamond to be tested is higher than the highest grade of the colorimetric stone, the highest grade is still used to represent the color grade of the praseodymium diamond.

2. When the color of the diamond to be tested is lower than the lowest grade in the colorimetric stone, the color grade of the praseodymium diamond is expressed as less than the color grade. The home of the ring believes that if the color of the diamond to be tested is yellower than the N-grade colorimetric stone, its color grade will be used.

3. When the color of the diamond to be tested is the same as that of one of the colorimetric stones, the preceptor thinks that the color grade of the colorimetric stone is the color grade of the diamond to be tested.

4. If the color of the diamond to be tested is between two consecutive colorimetric stones, the color scale of the diamond to be tested will be represented by a lower color scale, and the diamonds with the same color scale will have slight differences in color tone.
