There are three main kinds of purple gems: amethyst, hidden curtain stone (tanzanite) and chamomile stone.
1, amethyst is a kind of amethyst. It is also the most common purple gemstone, usually called "amethyst". Because of its good transparency, it is always polished into gems with many facets in different shapes (round, oval, heart-shaped, drop-shaped, diamond-shaped, square ...) ... amethyst, and now there are natural and synthetic amethysts. The price of natural amethyst is always higher than that of synthetic amethyst (under the same size). It's like a fingernail-sized amethyst pendant, usually around 500 to 600 yuan. This refers to natural amethyst. If it is synthetic, don't surpass 200 yuan.
2. zoisite, also known as Tanzanite (named because Tanzania is rich in high quality), is often purple with blue (there are also blue or yellow-green or pink zoisite). This kind of gem also has facets and different shapes. Because its output is much less than amethyst, the price of this gem is usually much higher than amethyst. The size of the fingernail is about 1000 yuan or 2000 yuan.
3.charoite, purple, is often a crystal aggregate (actually a kind of jade).
Because of poor transparency, it is generally not processed into faceted pendants. The price of this pendant is not very high, it is cheaper than amethyst's, up to one or two hundred yuan.
