1) What printer is it used on?

In the thermal transfer mode, the carbon ribbon and label paper are consumed synchronously in the length direction, and the width of the carbon ribbon in the width direction should be greater than or equal to that of the label paper and less than the maximum printing width of the printer. Because the physical size of each printer is different, the maximum length of the paper roll that can be loaded and the maximum width that can be printed are also different. In addition, the combination of the working temperature of the print head and the photosensitive characteristics of the carbon tape will also have a great influence on the final printing effect.

2) On what surface?

Generally speaking, the surface of coated paper is rough, and wax-based or mixed-based carbon tape should be used; PET paper has a smooth surface and should be used with resin-based carbon tape.

3) required graphic durability

If you want the printed label content to have good durability, you should choose resin-based carbon tape.

4) Affordable cost

Generally speaking, wax-based carbon belts have the lowest cost, followed by mixed carbon belts, and resin-based carbon belts have the highest cost.

5) Requirements for scratch resistance, scratch resistance, smear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance of the label.

If the label may often rub against scratch-resistant, smear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and high-temperature resistant pairs, the label needs to have strong scratch resistance. At this time, resin carbon belt or mixed-base carbon belt should also be selected.

6) What is your printing speed?

In the case of high-speed printing, choose a carbon belt with high sensitivity.
