20 19 Bulgari's high-end jewelry series "Movies" was inspired by the film industry. From Italian blacks and whites, classics to Hollywood, and even Disney, Bulgari read a lot of movies and created a narrative work, which brought together one of the largest jewelry series in history.
There is a gem that stands out and brings the film field into jewelry. The necklace (above) is a replica of an old Pearl Buck movie. It has a frame and perforations along the edge, and is made of zirconium and diamonds. There is a black diamond in every frame, which is natural. This film is about a diamond. If you are like me, you will want to know what zirconium is. This is the explanation given by Bulgari: "(Zirconium is) an ultra-high temperature resistant metal, which was first introduced by Bulgari in the high-end jewelry industry.
Disney occupies a place in Bulgari's world. It appears in the form of a fairy wing necklace (above), which brings us to Peter Pan's magical world, especially the fairy tinker bell. Apart from accidentally mentioning a beloved English children's story book, this necklace is Bulgari, with rich and bright water drops and beautiful colors of gems.
Similarly, the necklace of Dolce Vitasone (pictured above) uses the classic Bulgari silhouette to create brighter colors. This legendary diva necklace inlaid with emeralds, pearls, rubber and diamonds reminds us of Bulgari's role as a star jeweler, which began in ——cine città, the birthplace of legendary screens in Rome and Italy where the film industry gathered.
Emerald is characterized by the closest connection between gems. 1963 Elizabeth Taylor frequented Bulgari when filming Cleopatra in Rome, and met richard burton. This jade wedding necklace (pictured above) is very similar to the sapphire necklace in Elizabeth Taylor. On richard burton's 40th birthday in 1972, she received a similar design. Today's edition has a heart of 24.46 carats, which is significantly smaller than the original necklace of 65 Craca sugar bread cut sapphire from Leeds, and is now part of the collection of Bulgari Museum. Other references to Elizabeth Taylor's films include Cleopatra's "cloak" necklace (see the picture below). I've never heard of' shawl', but it perfectly describes gems side by side.
Unusual Bulgari, diamonds and pearls. The diamond string (bottom) is a string of diamonds and pearls, which can be worn as a necklace or in the hair. Its luxurious design is inspired by claudia cardinale's song "Diamonds are Girls' Best Friends" written in the movie "The Leopard" by Visconti, and Angelina's song "Diamonds are Girls' Best Friends" written in 1953 and Marilyn Monroe, which comes from the platinum diamond miracle necklace in the movie "Gentlemen prefer blondes".
The most intriguing thing is the Roman landscape necklace (below), which depicts wood, malachite and diamonds, and a Roman umbrella tree passing through Oreglia. If you miss the movie part of this design, I can share it with you. In the opening scene of the movie "Il Sopaso" of 1962, the same umbrella star is the work of Dino Ricci.
The Roman landscape necklace, made of wood, malachite and diamonds, provides a scene of an umbrella pine passing through Oreglia, which was shot by Dino Ritchie at the opening of the film Il Sopaso 1962.
Put aside narrative and action! Movie necklaces, for me, are low-end series, and these jewels are the joyful confluence of Bulgari's brilliance. Dramatic color application, bold material combination and exquisite craftsmanship are the signs of Bulgari's exquisite skills.
If you want to call it fairy wings, but for me, it is an Italian design genius and the best craft.
