How to identify an authoritative jewelry certificate?
At present, there are more than 100 jewelry appraisal institutions that have passed CMA certification in China, and the appraisal certificates issued by these institutions are legal, responsible and trustworthy. But at the same time, some unscrupulous businessmen collude with some private workshops to make false certificates, or find unqualified "institutions" to issue certificates, which not only disrupts the market, but also brings great shopping risks to consumers. Then the question is, how should consumers choose an authoritative appraisal certificate?

1. The qualification of this institution must be printed on the certificate.

There are five kinds of institutional qualification certification: CAL certification, CMA certification, CNAL certification, CNAS certification and ILAC-MRA certification. Among them, CMA is the compulsory certification of appraisal institutions by the state. Generally speaking, if there is no CMA certification on the certificate, then the certificate is extremely inaccurate and unreliable.

2. The contact information of the institution must be printed on the certificate.

On the reverse side of the certificate, in addition to the qualifications of the institution, there must also be information such as the name, contact number, address and website of the appraisal institution. After getting the certificate, you can call the agency to verify the authenticity of the certificate at the first time, or log in to official website to check the authenticity of the certificate.

In short, with the contact information of the organization, it can be verified whether this certificate is a fake certificate.

3. The certificate must be signed by the inspector.

According to article 14 1 of China's criminal law, "it is a deliberate crime to hope or let this happen knowing that one's actions will lead to harmful consequences to society." This is a clear stipulation of the concept of "knowing" intentional crime in China's criminal legislation. If the appraisal institution knows about fraud, it needs to bear joint and several liability, which is why the names of the inspector and the reinspector should be written on the certificate.

4. The appraisal content on the certificate is comprehensive and detailed.

The most important information of the appraisal certificate is the test content, and different types of jewelry information have their own emphasis:

Diamond grading certificate

What we should pay most attention to is the 4C grade of diamonds: color grade, clarity grade, cut grade and weight. Of course, not all diamonds have 4C standards. Gia's standard is that diamonds weighing more than 0.3 carats can be issued with diamond grading certificates.

Purity inspection certificate of precious metal ornaments

The most important thing to pay attention to is the kind and content of precious metals.

Jewelry and jade appraisal certificate

The test conclusion is the most important. According to the national standard, natural jewelry and jade are no longer marked with the word "natural", but must be marked with artificial processed or synthetic gems, such as: the conclusion is "ruby", which means that this ruby is pure natural; "Ruby (treatment)" means the specific treatment method, which means that this ruby is a natural gem, but its appearance has been improved by some artificial treatment; "Synthetic ruby" means that ruby is not naturally produced, but is purely synthesized by artificial laboratory. "Remarks" column: Generally, some relatively special samples will be encountered in the testing process, which will be explained in the remarks. For example, in the appraisal certificate of Hetian jade, once the surface treatment is involved, the specific treatment method will be indicated in the remarks. The identification certificate of jadeite is generally marked as: jadeite (a), bleached jadeite (b) and dyed jadeite (c).

5. The identification items on the certificate must be printed by the machine.

The state forces the printing of identification certificates for machines, and the identification certificates filled in by hand have no reference value.

If an appraisal certificate has the above five information, then the certificate is more authoritative.
