Custom diamond rings are generally recommended 20-30 days in advance.
Besides the style and brand, the choice of diamond parameters is very important.
How to choose a custom diamond ring?
Diamonds of the same size have different 4C (color, clarity, cut and weight) grades and different prices.
① Color: The color of colorless diamonds is usually based on the color classification established by GIA, American Gemological Institute. From D (transparent) to Z (yellow), it is best to choose natural white diamonds above H color.
(2) Clarity: classify the clarity grades of diamonds that are not inlaid, and divide them into FL, IF, VVS2, VVS 1, VVS2, SI 1, SI2 and other *** 10 grades according to China's national inspection standards. The closer to the FL level, the better. Diamonds are divided into five grades: excellent, very good, good and relatively good. It is best to choose a diamond clarity above VS2.
③ Cutting: The cutting of a diamond refers to the accuracy of its cutting and grinding ratio and the perfection after finishing. The best cut is excellent (EX), but diamonds above VeryGood(VG) are already very good. General (general) and poor (poor) are not recommended, and it is better to choose VG or above for diamond cutting.
④ Gram weight: The weight of diamonds is calculated in carat (CT). 1 carat = 0.2g = 100 min. 0.75 carat is also called 75 minutes, and 0.0 1 carat is 1 minute. Under other similar conditions, with the increase of diamond weight, its value increases geometrically, with 30 points having obvious fire color and more than 50 points having the function of maintaining and increasing value.
When it comes to the price of diamonds, there is another problem that has to be mentioned, and that is the "carat premium". The value of diamonds lies in their "scarcity". The bigger the diamond, the rarer it is and the higher its value. Therefore, the size and price of diamonds generally do not increase exponentially, but exponentially! For example, 1 gram of gold is 300 yuan, then 2 grams is 600 yuan; But diamonds are not. A 1 carat diamond may be 70,000, but a 2-carat diamond of the same quality may be 250,000. This is called "carat premium".
