To achieve perfection is to get rid of the five poisons completely. It is the five poisons that keep us trapped in samsara. When the five poisons disappear, five kinds of corresponding wisdom appear immediately.
angry
Don't look at your heart with anger,
Anger is self-evident, that is, empty;
The bright sky is just a big round mirror.
I was angry, and I began to recite it after liberation.
How does reincarnation come about? When we use the five senses to recognize everything around us, we will have all kinds of feelings of love or disgust in our hearts, and these feelings will produce reincarnation. Just knowing things is not the reason why we wander in the cycle, but our reaction to this knowledge and the explanation imposed on it, which makes the cycle continue to flow. The characteristic of secret spell multiplication is: instead of letting samsara continue like this, let us cultivate the knowledge that all phenomena are wisdom and purity.
When you are angry with someone, your hatred or anger is not inherent in this person, but only in your own heart. When you catch a glimpse of him, all your thoughts fall on all the thoughts that he has hurt you in the past, may hurt you in the future or is hurting you now; Even hearing his name will make you angry. If you stick to these ideas, your anger will explode. At this time, you will have an irresistible impulse to pick up a stone and throw it at him, or grab something and hit him, thinking, "I really want to kill him!" " 』
Anger seems powerful, but where does its power come from and can overwhelm you so easily? Is it some kind of external force, something with hands, feet, weapons and armor? If not, is it somewhere in your heart? If so, where is it? Can you find it in the brain, heart, bones or other parts of the body? Although it is impossible to find out where he is, anger seems to exist very firmly. Strong adhesion freezes your heart into a solid state and brings you and others great pain. There is nothing like a cloud. It can't support your weight, nor can it be worn as clothes, but it can darken the whole sky and block the sun. So in the same way, thoughts will block the original glory of consciousness. With Wukong's clear nature-mind, we can return to the original state of freedom. If you realize that the essence of anger is empty, anger will lose all its destructive power and become "big mirror wisdom" But if you can't understand the nature of anger, let it rage, it is the source of cold and hot torture in hell.
People always think that defeating and destroying the enemy is a positive achievement, but there is no doubt that this is not a Buddhist view. When anger erupts, don't chase it, but look at the nature of anger. It is only made up in an empty mind world. For countless generations, you have been enslaved by your hatred and accumulated countless bad karma. Please be more careful from now on. Remember, anger is the root of all pain. Eradicate anger and there will be no more hell. So the real goal of your hatred should be hatred itself, not the so-called hatred of the enemy.
If you don't pursue the feeling of anger, if you don't isolate yourself from angry people, if your anger can be freed and returned to its true colors, it is "big mirror wisdom". In this mirror, everyone else is his own reflection. Even if avalokitesvara has angry thoughts in his heart, it will only make his wisdom brighter. Furthermore, when you clearly understand that anger can't be born from external things, and inner anger is not any tangible existence, you will have a sad heart that spreads to all beings, especially those who suffer from anger.
A long time ago, in the past life of Buddha, he was a bodhisattva who showed his snake body. Some cruel children caught him and tortured him to death. He can destroy them at a glance if he wants to, but he can't, because there is no anger in his heart. Instead, he prayed that by killing his karma, they could become his disciples in the future and let him lead them until they became Buddhas. This kind of courage and humiliation is the result of his thorough understanding of Wukong's nature and compassion.
Anger is the deadly enemy of liberation, because instant anger will destroy the good karma accumulated since the robbery. Therefore, eliminating anger is one of the main goals of Bodhisattva. Try to keep the precepts of forbearance and humiliation, and recite the six-character Daming mantra. As the saying goes: "There is no bigger mistake than anger, and there is no bigger punishment than humiliation. 』
slow
Don't be arrogant and slow,
Self-explanation is the emptiness caused by holding the present heart;
This is nothing more than equality and wisdom.
Proud and slow reciting is self-liberation.
Once we have acquired some admirable qualities, such as some special knowledge or technology, the arrogance that arises immediately will damage any possible positive significance. We are suppressed by high respect for others, confused by our beauty, knowledge, erudition and strength, and completely ignore the sincerity and perfection of the masters. In fact, ordinary people like us are lost in the pollution of reincarnation. Although there are occasional advantages, they are certainly far less than most disadvantages. Compared with the infinite beauty of those saints, our merits are just a little flour crumbs. In fact, we will be proud of goodness, often to whitewash our mistakes.
Therefore, no matter you have some limited and unstable talents, there is no reason to be proud of it. As the proverb goes: "Just as water can never gather on the mountain peak, real value can never be condensed on the cliff of pride. Arrogance and dullness will prevent you from developing piety, wisdom and compassion; It blocked the blessing from the guru and hindered all progress on the road. Therefore, it is very important to avoid the danger of arrogance and honestly reflect on yourself.
If you carefully analyze arrogance, you will find that anything you are proud of is not innate, but given by your greedy heart. If you keep a humble attitude and keep your inner humility, arrogance and dullness will disappear like the morning mist. From the arrogant and slow-moving heart, I can always live in the "equal wisdom" of Guanyin Bodhisattva.
corruption
Don't worry about greed,
Greedy self-solution, happy;
Happiness is nothing more than wonderful observation and wisdom.
Greed is recited from liberation.
No matter what kind of happiness you expect from parents, children, friends, wealth or property, they will not last long; If you don't lose it before you die, death will take everything away. It's no use holding on to them.
When you die, no matter how praised, rich and powerful you are, you are useless. You will wander between death and reincarnation, accompanied by only good and evil karma. It is a never-ending frustrating thing to accumulate money and property and then protect and increase it.
Seeing that gold and diamonds fascinated us, we were immediately conquered by our strong desire to own them. Even if we are going to buy something so expensive and beautiful, our persistence will not end, but will only grow. We may be afraid of losing our precious jewels and put them all in the safe, even afraid to take them out and wear them. After a lifetime of demands, our experience in the Yin stage will only be extreme fear and panic.
Those who engage in commerce, agriculture or any industry whose profit comes from others' losses will inevitably lead to more bad karma. We are never satisfied with what we have and always try to get more what we want. For countless generations, we have spent all our energy on this. Wouldn't it be better to give up greed completely and learn how to eat and wear warm clothes to survive?
If you make up your mind to practice and recite the six-character Daming Zun mantra without hindrance, you will find yourself less and less obsessed with the pursuit of daily life and no longer wasting your life. Desire and persistence will melt into its nature, which is the "wonderful view and wisdom" of avalokitesvara.
admire
Don't look into your heart because of jealousy.
Looking for services now is self-explanation;
Meaning is nothing more than wisdom,
Envy is recited from liberation.
Most people will envy anyone who is equal to him or taller than him. Jealousy doesn't exist in the object of your jealousy, it's just a fabrication in your heart. Whenever the idea of jealousy arises, we just need to know what it is and follow the outstanding achievements of others wholeheartedly.
Once you allow jealousy to grow, it will over-inflate. The story that devadatta was jealous of his cousin Gautama is an example. After Gautama became a Buddha, devadatta still fought him repeatedly with all kinds of evil deeds. He was so jealous that at last the earth split under his feet and he fell into the fire of hell. After a terrible ordeal there, he cried regretfully and said, "Gautama, I converted to you from the bottom of my heart!" Although he will be reincarnated as Jue Yuan Walker in the next life, even the Buddha can't save him in that life. Therefore, jealousy is a very serious mistake, and you should never let it influence you.
You only have great joy in other people's achievements. For example, follow someone's generous support for the three treasures, and you will accumulate the same merits as that person. It is better to rejoice in the immeasurable kindness of others, especially the actions of saints, than to be jealous because of your own achievements. This is "wisdom after success".
insane
Don't look at the environment foolishly,
I feel empty when I think about it now;
Feeling empty is nothing more than the body and mind of the dharma world.
Fools recite liberation from themselves.
Here, delusion refers to our ignorance of our Buddha nature. From this point of view, we are as ignorant as beggars who throw away a precious gem without knowing its value. Because of ignorance, we are enslaved by thoughts and can't tell right from wrong. Because of ignorance, we know nothing about the law of cause and effect and refuse to believe that every action has its consequences. We can't accept past lives because of ignorance. Because of ignorance, we have no confidence in the good results of praying for the three treasures. Because of ignorance, we cannot know the true meaning of Buddhism. Ignorance is the root of eighty-four thousand troubles. As long as you can't understand that everything is empty, you firmly believe that things really exist, which is the root of all delusions and evil thoughts.
In any case, ignorance will not be as permanently dark as any other phenomenon, like an underground cave. It will only come from emptiness and does not really exist. Once you understand the essence of ignorance, ignorance becomes "the body wisdom of the legal world", which is the essence of Buddha's wisdom-Buddha's nature-existing in all beings. As the Buddha said, ignorance makes us believe in delusion and don't know our own nature.
By establishing the emptiness of ignorance, the stupidity and confusion of ignorance itself is the legal world itself. Then, living in this awareness, practicing watching and practicing, this is the heart of avalokitesvara.
Whenever thoughts and troubles related to the five poisons arise, it is better to look at their essence than to let yourself be taken away by them; Finally, you will understand the five poisons, that is, the five wisdom, that is, the natural state of an unpolluted heart. At that time, thoughts will be freed from life immediately, and you will never lose your awareness-Guanyin Bodhisattva who wins righteousness.
Avalokitesvara is nothing but empty, but at the secular level, avalokitesvara has countless forms to meet the needs of all beings. The realization of all this, with all kinds of names and shapes, is the expression of his wisdom, compassion and empty creation. Guanyin Bodhisattva, in particular, has five main forms, corresponding to the five meanings and five paths in reincarnation. The following five original poems explain the five stages of Wuyun's transformation into Guanyin Bodhisattva.
