Cultural relics unearthed from Cao Cao's tomb
It is understood that although the tomb has been stolen many times, some important funerary objects have survived, with more than 200 unearthed objects, including gold, silver, copper, iron, jade, stone, ancient, lacquer, pottery, mica and other textures. There are mainly copper belt hooks, armor, iron swords, jade beads, crystal beads, agate beads, stone turtles, stone walls, stone pillows, stone tablets and so on.
The most important funerary objects are extremely precious. There are eight stone tablets of "Wang Changyong of Wei Wu", which are engraved with inscriptions such as "Wei Wu Wang Changyong used a tiger-smashing halberd" and "Wei Wu Wang Changyong used a tiger-smashing spear" respectively. The stone pillow excavated from the tomb is engraved with the inscription "The stone used by Wang Chang in Wu Wei". These unearthed written materials provide an important and direct historical basis for studying and determining the identity of the tomb owner.
In the process of cleaning the grave, some bones such as skulls and limbs were found. Experts initially identified them as three people, a man and two women. The owner of the tomb is a male, and experts judge that the age is about 60 years old, which is consistent with Cao Cao's 66 years old. That's Cao Cao's body.
