An Song (Wang Xueyin) from Chinese mainland, together with his assistant Yuan Xiaowen (Feng Wenjuan), Hong Kong police officers Li Yanming (Nick Cheung), Fan Jiaming (Shawn Yue), visiting professor Zhao Zhiren (Jacky Cheung) from the Department of Physics of Hong Kong University, and Korean weapons experts Cui Minhao (Chi Zhenxi) and Park Yuzhe (Cui Shiyuan), pursued the thief and saved the most deterrent weapons crisis in Asian history.
Film evaluation:
Equator focuses on the nuclear crisis and highlights the Asian consciousness, but it seems to exert too much force, resulting in an imbalance of focus. In the role arrangement, people feel at sixes and sevens. It took at least 20 minutes to introduce the characters. Stories are intertwined and details are dealt with everywhere, which not only brings psychological obstacles to watching movies, but also hurts visual enjoyment.
Although the film has a blockbuster ambition and actors from all walks of life are working hard, there are few wonderful scenes. It's a waste to use 3D effect. In the end, it's just a movie with ambition and selling points, but it's hard to really praise it.
