Huachang Jewelry was established in 1938 and is one of the "time-honored" enterprises in the jewelry industry. Its founder, Zhang Ayue, is the grandfather of the current chairman, King Zhang. In 1930s, Zhang Ayue and her cousin Zhang Ruxin studied jewelry processing with their father Zhang Ahan. After their success, they moved from Hong Kong to Shanghai to run the Tianfazhu Silver House. With the special skills of "gold inlaid with jade" and "gold inlaid with jade", they made a fortune, became famous in Shanghai and became a historical legend. In his later years, Zhang Ayue carefully drew four volumes, namely, Atlas of Antique Jade inlaid with Gold in Huachang Family, Atlas of Gold Bag in Huachang, Atlas of Sample of Men's Ring of Huachang Gem and Atlas of Jade inlaid in Huachang, and passed them on to future generations, so that the traditional skills of "Jade inlaid with Gold" and "Jade inlaid with Gold" can be passed down forever.

In 2009, after years of technological innovation and standardized management and production, Huachang people carried forward the two ancestral skills of "gold inlaid jade" and "gold inlaid jade". 20 1 1, Huachang's skills of "gold inlaid jade, gold inlaid jade" were selected in the provincial intangible cultural heritage list of Fujian Province.
