There are two ways to polish jade: mechanical polishing and manual polishing. Mechanical polishing is accomplished by using a vibrating machine with emery and polishing powder. The operation method is simple, but it is not suitable for particularly fine polishing. There are many equipments used for manual polishing, and jade velvet needs to be polished according to specific conditions.

2. It is to polish the surface with a grinding wheel and push it repeatedly. The second process is often coated with dye first, which can't be washed off. The function is to know which one has been ground and which one has not. Polishing powder is also indispensable.

3. Jade grinding method is divided into six steps, namely peeling, dredging, coarsening, fine grinding, coarse polishing and fine polishing. First, make an overall plan for the processing of jadeite raw stone, then cut the jadeite raw stone and peel it. If the original jadeite stone is relatively large, you need to use lifting equipment, such as a crane.

4. Jade should be polished with polishing powder for 2 ~ 3 times, and then polished with diamond powder and bristle brush. Then use nails or bamboo chopsticks dipped in diamond powder to finely polish the carved lines of jadeite, and then use sandpaper to finely polish the whole jadeite. After polishing, coat a layer of wax on the jade surface, then wash and blow dry.

5. First of all, polishing means coating a layer of polishing powder on the surface of the carved jade ornaments, and then grinding off all the burrs on the surface with oilstone or sandpaper. Because there are many tiny burrs on the jade surface, this polishing process is more troublesome, so it is necessary to repeat this action at least twice.
