(1) color: the color description in the appraisal certificate is mainly aimed at the color of the gemstone itself and the color of the main stone in the inlaid jewelry.
(2) Total mass: ① indicates the mass of the gem itself that is not inlaid. If the jade pendant is weighed on the balance, the total mass in the appraisal certificate is 6.80 g; (2) For inlaid jewelry, the total mass includes the mass of the bracket and the inlaid gem. Mass is expressed in grams (g), which is the legal unit of measurement. In order to adapt to the traditional habit of using carat in jewelry industry, the quality of jade without inlaid jewelry can be added with the corresponding carat value after grams.

(3) Shape: generally, write the shape of the main stone directly, such as oval facets and oval plain faces. Carvings write their meaning, such as wishful thinking.
(4) Density, refractive index, birefringence, optical characteristics, polychromatic property, absorption spectrum, etc. Are technical terms to explain the basic physical properties of jewelry and jade.
(5) Magnification inspection: record the internal and external features of jewelry, such as inclusions, feather patterns, etc.
(6) Others: This column indicates the name and purity of precious metals used to mark inlaid jewelry. For example, 18K gold indicates that the jewelry is inlaid with gold, with a purity of 75%; If necessary, specify some special detection methods other than common detection, such as infrared spectrum inspection of jadeite. You can also write down some special conditions of the tested sample that need to be supplemented, such as the sample has undergone "diffusion treatment" or "dyeing treatment", or some special instructions on the test results. For example, if the color of a blue topaz is unknown, you can write "This topaz may have been artificially irradiated" in the remarks column.
(7) Appraisal result: This column is filled with the final conclusion after sample appraisal.
