It is generally believed that the most valuable wood fossils are those with insect fossils, followed by dendritic, nodal and nodular wood fossils. The best wood fossils are naturally those that can reflect tree species, barks, branches, tree knots, tree rings, wormholes, textures and materials, and can produce visual, aesthetic, perceptual and savvy sounds for collectors.
