Su Wuming was a real folk figure in the period of Wu Zetian in Tang Dynasty. He is famous for solving the theft of Princess Taiping's jewels. There are many stories about Su Wuming in the novel. The author of the novel is a man named Niu Su in the Tang Dynasty. Many people and things written in the novel are contemporary with him, and most of them are anecdotes. Therefore, Su Wuming was probably a real person living in the Tang Dynasty at that time, and was also related to Princess Taiping, and was also famous for investigating cases. The only difference is that he is not a disciple of De Renjie.
Speaking of ancient detectives, everyone will think of Di Renjie, Bao Qingtian, Song Ci, Harry and so on, and Su Wuming is a strange man who never leaves a trace. He once cracked a jewel theft in a palace. There is little or no record about him, except that he was from the early Tang Dynasty and was in the same dynasty as De Renjie, but he didn't show that he was watertight, maybe he was overwhelmed.
