I've been preparing to send more since the last tutorial of black pillow oriole was liked by everyone. For work reasons, I haven't seen you for a long time, so I brought a detailed explanation of the colored lead hand-painted tutorial of this moonstone ring. I hope you like it!
First go to the finished product drawing (will you see the finished product drawing and everyone will be scattered. . )
For details about this original, please refer to Hengye/Colored Pencil to describe the beauty of crystal.
Let's look at several sets of pictures of gem jewelry first:
It can be seen that most of our ancient jewelry is inlaid with jewelry, including today's jewelry, which is not as complicated as ancient times, but there are also materials such as gems or diamonds. Different jewelry represents different status, which determines the value and influence of jewelry. Then you should pay attention to the color of jewelry when painting jewelry.
Let's begin to draw our theme-Moonstone Ring.
Moonstone is actually "Moonstone". Because the center of the stone is like the blue and halo of moonlight, it is also called "Moonstone". It is said that moonstone can clear the mind and soften the temperament. Its soft luster makes people often regard it as a token of love, so the moonstone is also called the "lover's stone". -Excerpt from Color Pencil Depicting the Beauty of Crystal
So pick up a "lover's ring" and give it to the person you love!
Before, many friends asked me, "What paper and pen should I use?"
So this tutorial was originally intended to be completed with China colored lead. Later, it was found that oily colored lead was not suitable for depicting this kind of objects, because the coloring was not deep and the overlapping colors were inconvenient. If the coloring is not deep, our highlights will not stand out, so we can't achieve the effect of making the depicted objects realistic and three-dimensional. So here we still use Huibaijia water-soluble 48 colors. Paper is ordinary sketch paper. Friends who have no material can draw with a pencil, just pay attention to drawing black, white and gray. Pens and ballpoint pens are not recommended for beginners.
Our ring is made of silver, and the moonstone is the largest, with two diamonds on the top left and two diamonds on the bottom right. Then their glossiness is different, so it is necessary to pay attention to the pre-retention of different highlights in the drawing process.
So before painting, I need to remind you-although it is a small ring, it is also a slow job. This is something that details play with. Don't hand in your homework if you don't have the patience to give up or draw at will in the process of drawing. Painting itself is to cultivate sentiment and stabilize one's emotions. Without this effect, it is impossible to simply pursue beautiful results. We are painting, not magic. (You will see magic after painting)
The first is the basic type. The general model must be planned and studied first. What geometry is there on the ring, what is its material, metal, jade, glass and glass, and so on.
Many friends said that they didn't know where to start when they got the copied map. In fact, this is how to analyze the scale, that is, compare the original picture with the size they want to draw, and then draw the following basic types, most of which are straight lines, to form a general framework.
Look at the details. Most of the details of this tutorial are exposed for everyone to read carefully. It doesn't mean that the color of colored lead itself will have color difference, so the color number of colored lead I took must prevail in the drawing process. If you don't have the same color lead, you can find the approximate color map with the naked eye.
The block in the upper left corner is connected with the ring body. It is used to "catch" the moonstone itself, so we need to leave this place blank.
PS: If you need to leave blank in the early stage, it is basically impossible to make up this bright spot in the later stage, so you can only modify it by software, so pay attention.
Note that the front of the highlight is to show the thickness of the object.
The first deepening of black will definitely confirm the effect of lines.
Green is mostly a reflection of the luster of silver objects. Don't ask me why. I don't know how to explain this. The point is to observe more things at ordinary times.
Black superimposed green secondary deepening
The blank space is still there. If you don't draw it, it's gone.
Spread blue. This is a reflection of the color of the moonstone.

The detailed list of colored parts highlights the reserved precautions.
Black is four times deeper and stands out everywhere. Diamonds have many cutting surfaces, and most of the highlights are concentrated in radial shape. It is recommended to draw details with a pencil. Don't use colored lead rashly because your hands are heavy. You can consider oily colored lead here.
Black deepens, blue and black overlap and the color transitions five times.
Close-up because the exposure looks heavy, but it's not that heavy.
End. After painting, you can add shadows to increase the three-dimensional sense. If you are not sure, you can leave out the composition of this picture. It doesn't matter if you don't add shadows.

Complete the drawing. All the above tutorials have no PS except necessary exposure and watermarking.
The guidance books you buy are all adjusted by software, some are necessary because of the chromatic aberration of shooting or scanner, and some are to make the guidance books look better, so don't compare the results of your own painting with the guidance books.

Questions such as shooting angle and color difference will not be answered! Others are welcome to inquire.
