King 10- 13
The queen of Sheba heard that Solomon had come to see him in the name of the Lord. She saw with her own eyes the grandeur of the house and palace that Solomon had built because the Lord God had given him wisdom, heard Solomon's wisdom with her own ears, and tasted the rich delicacies that God had given Solomon. She was very grateful to Solomon. To show her gratitude, the Queen of Sheba sent precious gold, silver and jewels as gifts. Give glory to the God who gave him wisdom.

God showed his richness and omnipotence through Solomon. Similarly, Jesus commanded us to be the salt and light of the world. God wants to show us the richness and beauty of God. Without the guidance of the Holy Spirit, without the support and presence of God, people really can't do anything. Even if they are talented and capable, if they don't serve God, they will be meaningless and will not be remembered by God. If you have God-given wisdom and talent, don't use it as your capital to show off in front of others. Pride precedes corruption.

In chapter 1 1- 12, we also read that Solomon was too proud to listen to the words of God who appeared to him twice. This is entirely due to his pride and inflated selfish desires. He married foreign women, built altars for their idols, and worshipped idols after them. God was angry with him and restored his kingdom to Jeroboam.

But God is a faithful God, and he will establish his covenant with David, leaving the tribe of Judah from Jeroboam. From here, we can see that everything is in God's hands. God raised Jeroboam against Solomon, and God split Solomon's kingdom in two. Because Solomon sinned, God was angry with him, which divided his country. In real life, some situations we face are sometimes due to God's punishment for our crimes. We need to know whether God is angry, so we should repent before God in time. Of course, there are also some environments that God specially tailored for us, so that we can experience God and rely on God to overcome the environment and grow. If that's the case, we should thank God and accept his edification with joy.

Although God gave the kingdom of Israel to Jeroboam, Jeroboam repented and stopped following him because of his selfish desires, fearing that his people would sacrifice in the temple in Jerusalem. In his own way, he responded to God's arrangement and made a golden calf to guide the people to worship idols. He was a private Levite priest. He himself is a member of the tribe of Ephraim. He also offered sacrifices at the altar, exercised theocracy, and trapped himself and the people in sin. God sent a man of God to warn him that the family of David will have a son named Josiah, and he will kill the priests of your high places.

Chapter 13 The man of God used by God warned Jeroboam on behalf of God. God asked him not to thirst in that place, but he wanted him to be holy and not polluted by the local filth. However, he was tricked into eating and drinking with the local gods. Seemingly innocent, but when you think about it, the same confusion is not through deception. If you don't stick to your faith, you will be told by God. Adam was cheated, and so was the man of God who was used by God. As members of God's family, we should also take a warning and always be vigilant.
