Cui Mo's current market value is about tens of thousands of dollars, mainly depending on Cui Mo's appearance and carving:
The texture of Cui Mo is the same as that of ordinary jadeite, both good and bad. Generally speaking, the finer the texture, the higher the quality, and correspondingly, the higher the transparency. The transparency here refers to the condition of strong light irradiation, because even the best ink can't reach the transparency of glass jade, which is of course due to its dark green color. Cui Mo is mostly rough in texture, and the naked eye can feel the graininess inside jade. Even under strong light, this Cui Mo is difficult to achieve transparency.
Color of Cui Mo: Cui Mo is very obvious green or dark green under strong light, but also blue-green, which has a deep dark green tone effect under natural light. Cui Mo species also have white or milky spots. These white spots are mainly the white cotton of jadeite or the reflective effect of crystal face caused by large jadeite crystals. These spots are mainly sporadic spots or small clusters, and the distribution is relatively uniform.
Ink color: the surface of ink is black, and the better the ink, the darker it is and as rich as ink. But its color is not really black, but green. In other words, there is too much green. High-quality Cui Mo is still charming green under strong light.
