Master Jingyi Bao 1942 was born in Beijing, 196 1 graduated from Beijing Arts and Crafts School, majoring in metal arts and crafts. He studied design with many China arts and crafts masters such as Zhai Deshou and Wu Kenan, and has been engaged in "filigree inlay" and jewelry design and production for a long time.

Today, master Jingyi Bao, who is nearly 70 years old, has been engaged in jewelry and desk art design for nearly 50 years. He is the only surviving master of the older generation in the field of craft design in China, and has made great achievements in the inheritance and creative design of "filigree mosaic" technology for many years. In 2008, the Ministry of Culture officially listed the "filigree mosaic technique" as a national intangible cultural heritage, and Master Bai was assessed as the representative inheritor of this technique.

Master Bai's works are innovative, vivid and refined while inheriting the essence of China's traditional culture and art, forming his own unique artistic style. His works have participated in many design competitions and expositions at home and abroad and won many awards. His representative works include: Feng Mingzhong, Jinyu Seismograph, Pepsi Harmony, Ode to Ancestors, etc. Feng Mingzhong, a master's work, won the Best Design Award in 1983 Southeast Asia Diamond Jewelry Design Competition, which is the highest authoritative award for China's filigree mosaic works in the world so far.
