What jade is the yellow croaker in Burmese jewelry and jade?
Burmese topaz belongs to Huang Longyu. The main components of Burmese topaz are silica and muscovite, which are very similar in structure to chalcedony, but chalcedony is single crystal. Huang Longyu in Myanmar is a polycrystalline complex, similar to Hetian jade, and its hardness is about 6-7. Common colors are lemon yellow, loquat yellow and egg yellow. As can be seen from the name, Myanmar topaz is produced in Myanmar and belongs to the same ore belt as Huang Longyu.
