At the beginning of the lights, I strolled along the street in the center of Tianshui to see what changes have taken place in Tianshui today and when I went to school ten years ago. Facing the cold wind, standing on the bridge, looking into the distance, rows of high-rise buildings are covered with colored lights, brightly lit motorcades meander like black dragons and pythons, flowing rivers sing softly under the flashing neon lights, and a strong fashion and modern atmosphere comes to my face. Walking on the road of democracy, looking at the antique buildings familiar with the pedestrian street and the tall and straight pines and cypresses in the Confucius Temple, it is kind and warm, just like an old friend reunited after a long separation.

Walking back, an ancient locust tree suddenly came into view, its bark was dark and chapped. Look at the tree tag carefully. This ancient pagoda tree numbered 0-20 has been around for more than 400 years! Looking at the big pagoda tree in the cold wind, I suddenly thought of the big pagoda tree and immigrants in the Ming Dynasty. "Ask me where my ancestors came from, the big locust tree in Hongdong, Shanxi." I heard from my elders that my ancestors also came down from the big locust tree in Shanxi. I wonder if this big pagoda tree has anything to do with the immigrants of that year! There are ancient buildings near the ancient trees, and sure enough, there is a monument of "Hu's ancient dwellings" not far away. This should be the house where Hu lived in ancient times. Towering and exquisite archways, simple and elegant roof tiles and dark and majestic doors have seen through the vicissitudes of history and the massiness of culture. There are two signs at the gate: Tianshui Folk Museum and Tianshui Folk Writers Association. It seems that the former residence is used for the protection and display of folk culture, which is the best use and icing on the cake. I really want to see it. But the night is already deep, so I can only look at the door and sigh, so I have to come back tomorrow.

When I came the next day, I found that the house in the community was adjacent to the Confucius Temple, across the road from north to south and across a street. Locals call it "North-South House". Not far from the east side of the gate is an ancient locust tree, which is over 700 years old. According to the introduction of scenic spots, the South Courtyard is the residence of Hu Laiyu, deputy envoy of Shanxi Provincial Inspection Department in Ming Dynasty, which was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. Beizhaizi is the private residence of Hu Xin, the son of Hu Laijin. Look at this father and son. His father was a magistrate of Daxing County, and he was in office for three years. He is not selfish and enforces the law impartially. Those bureaucrats not only feared him, but also praised him, recommended him and promoted him to a doctor. At work, get rid of the old disadvantages, be a subordinate, and dare not bully. Later, he was promoted to the deputy envoy of Shanxi inspection department, and Yanmen prepared the road and died in the line of duty. His son Hu Xin is a scholar. He was first appointed as the magistrate of Linfen, Shanxi Province, and was later promoted to Minister of Industry. He was appointed as an official of Shao Qingshi of Taichang Temple. When he was in office, he bluntly played many times and was known as "Beihai Rui". Father and son advocate loftiness, nature and the unity of man and nature. They built such a quiet courtyard in this bustling downtown, leaving us with this "unique ancient residential courtyard group in Gansu Province with typical Ming architectural style and rare in China".

The entire South Campus faces south to north, covering an area of 4,422 square meters and a building area of 270 1 square meter. It is composed of 13 courtyards, 78 single buildings and 1 treasure cave. It is a courtyard with three entrances. The gate is located in the northeast corner, with three vigorous and powerful characters of "Vice Constitution" written by Li. A majestic gate, spanning more than 400 years of history, has a grass, a tree, a mountain, a water, a brick and a tile, which makes us feel the life and culture of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. There is a patio at the entrance, facing a screen wall, and there is a hanging door for everything, where bamboo dances are clean and elegant. Hanging flower gate is divided into east and west areas by north-south passage. The west area is composed of Guifu Courtyard, Huaiyin Courtyard, Study Courtyard, Chess Academy and Garden, which is the main part of the South Courtyard. The East District is composed of five small quadrangles, namely Yinxing Courtyard, Lingxiao Courtyard, Yangjialou Courtyard, Dongjia Courtyard and Miscellaneous Courtyard. Through the west hanging flower gate, enter the quadrangle, where the roads are connected, the doors are covered and the courtyards are connected, such as entering a maze.

Huaiyin Courtyard, the second courtyard in the western district, is named after the plaque of Huaiyin Pavilion inscribed by Gao Hu hanging on the gate of Houzheng Hall. Naturally, it is reminiscent of the locust tree at the gate, which has sheltered many small trees from the wind and rain in the storm of history. "The flowers are fragrant in May, and the fragrance is floating in May." If you walk in the Huaiyin courtyard in May and smell the fragrant flowers in the shade, you will definitely have some fun. The yard consists of a back hall, an east wing and a kitchen. The Houzhong Temple is an ancestral temple dedicated to ancestors, and the front wall is "Qian Yi" in regular script. On such an important day of family sacrifice, Hu Laijin did not encourage his descendants to honor their ancestors and make great achievements, but warned them to "benefit modestly, but lose the whole game." No wonder they are called "father and son" by Yi people. The east-west wing is a young lady's boudoir, with a smart little bed and light curtains, and a delicate and gentle daughter's home atmosphere is flowing everywhere. Supposedly, men are not allowed to enter the boudoir of young ladies. Is it reasonable to intrude into a young lady's boudoir so rashly and peep with curious eyes on the pretext of understanding folk customs? To the east of the main hall is the kitchen, simple cabinets and several cases, revealing warm pots and pans. It's nice to walk into the kitchen more than 400 years ago and suddenly feel at home. Especially the bamboo basket hanging in mid-air with wire reminds me of my childhood. My mother told me that when they were young, my grandmother hung buns in a basket, as if it were a bamboo basket used by my grandmother.

When I entered the garden, I felt suddenly enlightened. In the cold winter, flowers wither and there is an exquisite rockery in the garden. There is a pool of calm water in front of the mountain, and a few dead leaves are shivering on the branches. Only some grass under the tree is dotted with faint green. At the door, three four-sided iron pillars support a pulley in a three-legged way. When you turn it gently, it will make a squeak. There is a big wheeled cart on the east wall of the garden, and a halter for riding is hung on the side wall of the cart. Such a luxurious cart should be equivalent to today's Mercedes-Benz. There is a stone mill in North Point, with peppers and garlic hanging on the wall, which is full of vitality. It seems that at that time, the whole family had to make their own food and drink Lazar. In the south corner, there is a pleasing yellow tree with small yellow flowers dotted with branches. I don't know whether the glittering and translucent flowers are true or not, and my colleagues at the Great Wall and I are not sure. Delicate and delicate palm branches, elegant petals of Huang Chengcheng, without any flaws. My colleague traveling with me is a girl. She touched her finger and sniffed it gently. You can imagine the beauty of flowers and plants when you read the introduction. There are pictures everywhere in the yard. The grand theater in Yangjialou is beautifully designed and antique. It's cool and breezy in summer, and it's so pleasant to drink a big bowl of tea in the flower pavilion and listen to the appointment. The theater has been closed in winter, and my wish seems impossible. Then find a favorite location to take a photo, which is also beautiful. Along the narrow and steep passage, under the strange light, you slowly enter the chilly treasure cave, and boxes of glittering gold and silver jewelry are displayed in front of you. The ancients really took great pains to hide the treasure. Although the house has been repaired, it still remains the same, still maintaining the Ming and Qing styles more than 400 years ago. The prominent bucket mouth, exquisite sparrow replacement, graceful hat, straight partition and dragon feeding on the roof decoration in the building are in perfect harmony with the woodcuts, handicrafts, manual workshop equipment, embroidery, etiquette, scrolls and daily production tools on display. Let us unconsciously appreciate the life of Tianshui people in ancient times, which really benefited a lot.

Two ancient pagodas, two ancient houses, the ancient style still exists. Hu and his son, for the country and the people, shine in history.
