Brown amber is a major amber variety in Myanmar. Brown pearls are divided into brownish red, golden brown, green pearls and purple according to different colors.

The classification of amber in Myanmar is basically the same as other jewels, such as ice jadeite, gold, silver, pink diamond and sapphire. Burmese amber is also classified according to appearance, including color. The growing conditions of amber in Myanmar are extremely complicated, resulting in a wide variety, including Jin Po, brown beads, root beads, beeswax, blood beads, insect beads and tea beads. In addition, there is another variety of Burmese amber called chameleon.
