Blasting ore means that you buy ore, use a jewelry skill (in the spell book), select it, destroy it, and then choose gems (materials that can be processed into jewelry)

Each explosion will destroy five ores.

The number of gems produced in the ore is uncertain, but the better the gems produced by the high-grade ore (so the fried Titan ore can have purple gems).
