In 2009, Donghai Crystal organized a delegation to participate in large-scale activities such as Yangzhou, Changzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou and China International Jewelry Fair and Tiangong Award, and achieved good results.
In order to vigorously carry forward the crystal culture and strengthen the sustainable development ability of crystal works research, innovation and production, the Donghai Crystal Copyright Agency Registration Office was established, and the measures for the protection and use of the national geographical indications of Donghai Crystal were formulated. CCTV filmed and broadcast the feature film "The Legend of Donghai Crystal", and more than 40 provincial TV stations covered Donghai Crystal and Crystal Festival during the 10th Crystal Festival. The county government entrusted a professional consulting company to compile the Strategic Plan for the Development of Crystal Industry in the East China Sea. The plan analyzes and compares the current situation of the crystal industry base vertically and horizontally, and makes overall planning and integration of the existing resources of the crystal industry in the county from a strategic perspective, providing a short-,medium-and long-term scientific development plan for the base, which is of great significance to the sustainable development of the base.
In the next development, Donghai Crystal Industry Base will strive to build a modern service industry gathering area with Donghai Crystal City as the core and the largest crystal trading center in China, so as to make Donghai a complete large-scale crystal industry base integrating scientific research and innovation, cultural communication, Expo auction, production and processing, design and production, business exhibition and personnel training.
