Dongjing Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit, located in Mengding Town, Gengma County, lincang, Yunnan Province. It is a famous temple of the Southern Buddhism Mountain Forest School. Historically, Tokyo Buddhist Temple is a temple and a tower, called Tokyo Buddhist Temple, and the tower is called Tokyo stupa. "Cave Scene" means "clavicle" in Dai language, and it is named after the collection of "clavicle relic" of Buddha Sakyamuni. According to the records of Dai Buddhism literature, Mengding Cave Jingfo Temple was founded in 874 (i.e. 15 12), with a history of nearly 500 years. 1993, when the cave was rebuilt by the stupa, an oval Buddha bone (said to be Sakyamuni's "collarbone relic"), as well as Buddha statues, jewels, bronze statues, small pagodas and other items were excavated. At the same time, two bronze inscriptions unearthed record the historical fact that the Buddhist temple in Dongjing has a sacred relic "relic". The reappearance of Sakyamuni's "collarbone relic" has cast a sacred and mysterious color on the Mengding Cave Buddhist Temple, and has become a Buddhist holy place for the Buddha to help the world and save all beings.
