(1) white crystal
[AAA grade]: American grade, that is, the whole crystal product is transparent inside and outside, and there is no scar caused by artificial polishing.
[AA level]: It is one level lower than the former, and there are subtle flaws, such as natural inclusions, cloud-like and cotton-wool-like small pieces (two or three centimeters), or artificial scars (scars can't be scraped with nails), so we must pay attention to them.
[Grade A]: It is one grade lower than Grade AA, with slight defects, which may be natural inclusions, clouds, cotton wool, or surface scars caused by man-made impact (scratches can be felt by scraping with nails), and it is easy for naked eyes to see.
Grade A white crystals are all good white crystals, because the output of white crystals is large, so it is easy to get better grade white crystals.
I must clearly explain the standards defined in those days; The so-called [AAA beauty] is clean from the inside out, without any flaws; As long as there is a dust-like dot on the surface, or a small needle artificially punched, it cannot be included. So [AAA Beauty] represents the highest quality of white crystal, and then there is no [AAAA].
(2) Amethyst
"AAA": transparent and flawless, usually used to cut and polish various faceted gems, and used to inlay pendants, rings and other ornaments. Most of them are not too big, usually around one carat to thirty Dockwra; Of course, there are hundreds of carats, but the quantity is small and can only be used for collection. Some of them are lighter in color, but they are also decorated with large pieces of original stones, such as statues. I once saw an amethyst Guanyin statue in Hong Kong, worth150,000 Hong Kong dollars.
[AA]: Although there are always some flaws and even foggy parts, if the color is beautiful, it will generally be ground into pendants or beaded bracelets.
(3) Topaz
"AAA grade": the whole body is transparent and flawless, and most of them are cut and polished into gemstones with faceted angles, so as to be inlaid into ornaments such as rings or pendants. Recently, there are also three A-class American topaz bracelets, but they are expensive.
[AA]: tiny natural flaws, used to cut into beads, and irregular pendants with smooth surfaces.
The hue of topaz ranges from light yellow, bright yellow, golden yellow, wine yellow to brown Huang Dou, with bright yellow, golden yellow and wine yellow being the most beautiful, and being too light or too deep is not pleasing.
(4) The grades of tea crystal and ink crystal are the same as those of white crystal.
(5) There are few powder crystal translucent AAA products in the United States, which are all used to polish into various gem ornaments. Those that are opaque and defective are mostly used to grind into crystal columns, crystal balls or sculptures. It's better to be subtle. Among them, starlight powder with translucency and starlight effect is the rarest and the highest price.
(6) Ghost crystal, illusion crystal and backbone crystal (crocodile crystal) are not graded, and those with beautiful and unique appearance are preferred.
