The diamond grade is mainly from the four aspects of diamond weight, diamond color, clarity and cut, which is what we often call diamond 4c, and each C has corresponding grading standards.
First, the color grade
When measuring the color of diamonds, each diamond will be evaluated against the "colorimetric stone" and divided into color grades.
The color grades of diamonds are classified according to the standards set by GIA, American Gemological Institute, from "D" (transparent and colorless, starting with the initials of diamonds) to "Z" (yellow):
Def- colorless; Ghij- almost colorless; Klm- light yellow; Nop QR- slightly yellow; StuvWXYZ- light yellow.
Second, the definition level.
Diamond clarity grades are classified as follows according to the standards set by GIA of Gemological Institute of America:
FL-flawless level; If- flawless level; VVS——(VVS 1 and VVS2) very slight inclusion level; VS——(VS 1 and VS2) is slightly horizontal; SI——(SI 1 and SI2) micro-inclusion level; I-(I 1, I2, I3) is of poor quality.
Third, the cutting level.
Diamond cutting grades are classified as follows according to the standards set by GIA of American Gemological Society:
Excellent ideal cutting, very good cutting, good cutting, good cutting, fair cutting, poor cutting;
The last diamond heavyweight, this is relatively simple, the bigger the natural diamond heavyweight, the higher it is.
