Blue Vocational and Technical College only specializes in meteorology, civil aviation, coal, geology, safety, metallurgy, water conservancy, chemical industry, jewelry, finance and trade. This major has not been offered yet.

Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College of Resources and Environment, referred to as "Lanzihuan" for short, is a college approved by Gansu Provincial People's Government and People's Republic of China (PRC) Emergency Management Department, a national backbone vocational college, and a construction unit of high-level vocational colleges with China characteristics. The school was formerly known as Lanzhou Meteorological School (founded in 195 1) and Gansu Coal Workers College (founded in 1984), which belongs to Gansu Coal Industry Bureau. As of September, 2002 1 year, the school has 4 campuses,1production-education integration demonstration park, 13 secondary colleges, 69 majors and 8 undergraduate majors. There are 939 faculty members, 57 with full-time senior titles, 257 with associate senior titles, and more than 20,000 full-time students, including 800 undergraduates, 500 vocational students18,800, and 500 secondary vocational students.
