The emperor shunzhi was a devotee to Buddhism before his death, but people who converted to Buddhism did not love gold and silver. So when the emperor shunzhi was alive, he made it clear that when he died, he didn't need to bury too many gold, silver and jade articles, but simply buried them.
Moreover, the emperor shunzhi and his two favorite concubines were cremated, which was rare in those days. They have no coffins, so there are only three urns. Of course, without a coffin, there is no need to bury too many precious things.
And after the emperor shunzhi ascended the throne, because the treasury was empty, there would be no wanton construction of his own mausoleum, but he died suddenly, so this mausoleum was built for him by Kangxi.
At that time, the country was too poor to produce too much treasure. It is conceivable that Shunzhi said not to have a heavy burial, and what was buried inside was definitely not worth a trip by grave robbers.
After all, no matter how many objects are buried with the tomb, there will be some organs. It's worthless not to steal and put your life in, so the Xiaoling Mausoleum in Shunzhi is preserved.
