As we all know, Rolls-Royce is a symbol of the automobile industry, not only an excellent and precious brand, but also a status symbol. Later, because of its symbolic significance, once an industry produces something with high price and good quality, it will be called? Rolls-Royce of xx. ?

And archaeology has it? Rolls royce? What kind of treasure is that? Commonly known as cat's eye, scientific name opal, also known as? Cat's eye 、? Holding the water stone? . Opal is an extremely precious gem, and it is the rarest and most expensive beryllium-containing alumina in the world. At present, only Sri Lanka produces it, which is extremely expensive and only billionaires can afford it.

Because the optical phenomenon of opal is very similar to that of a living cat's eye, it is smart and bright, and can change its shape with the intensity of light, hence the name. Because of its preciousness, opal was described in many ancient books in China, but in ancient times, only the royal family could own such things.

According to historical records, China only imported this kind of gem from Sri Lanka in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and wore it as a luxury item for nobles to show off their status and family status. So far, there are only five in China. Things are rare, so you can imagine how precious opal is.

Where did these five pieces come from? Two of them were buried with Emperor Wanli and Emperor Qianlong of the Ming Dynasty, and one was embedded on the top of the golden pagoda of the Palace Museum. And the remaining two, but also has an extraordinary place.

In the 1970s, a dozen villagers accidentally dug up a large number of blue bricks and a black hole while digging an air-raid shelter in Jiulong Mountain in the northeast of Shandong Province. Seeing this, they immediately reported the situation to the local cultural relics department.

Shandong Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics immediately rushed to the scene for investigation. Unexpectedly, it actually unveiled the mystery of the tomb of Amin Dynasty. After the excavation by experts, it is speculated that the owner of this ancient tomb should be King Huang Lu, the vassal of the Ming Dynasty. His full name is Zhu Tan, a favorite of Zhu Yuanzhang. His fief was in Yanzhou, which is today's Shandong Province. Yanzhou was a big city with rich products at that time. Zhu Yuanzhang sealed him here, which shows how much he loves him.

Moreover, after Zhu Tan visited Yanzhou, Zhu Yuanzhang immediately promoted Yanzhou as the government, governing four states and twenty-three counties. The purpose of Zhu Yuanzhang's doing this is only to enrich Zhu Tan's life. However, it was this king Lu who was favored by Zhu Yuanzhang. After he was 65,438+08 years old, he quickly transferred Zhou as a vassal king, and actually listened to rumors and believed in Taoism. Every day, he invited a large group of Taoist priests to burn incense and recite scriptures, refining elixirs with various mineral materials, and praying for immortality and wealth forever.

Unexpectedly, this elixir made of mercury, cinnabar, realgar and other mineral materials has become a poison that killed his life. After taking elixir for less than half a year, he became blind and completely blind. A year later, when he was just over 19 years old, he died of poisoning.

Zhu Yuanzhang was very angry when he learned about Zhu Tan's death and the cause of death. He didn't expect that the son he cultivated with his heart was so incompetent. He died at the age of 19, because he believed in Taoism and took Dan medicine, hoping to live forever, which made him very angry and sad.

In grief, Zhu Yuanzhang not only killed all the Taoist priests in the Lu Palace, but also made Zhu Tan king. The absurdity of his behavior can be seen. It can be seen that Zhu Yuanzhang hates his guts and wants to satirize him on his title after his death.

After more than five months' excavation, more than 300 pieces of precious funerary objects of Ming Dynasty were unearthed from the tomb of Huang Luwang, including a coffin made of gold-rimmed nanmu with lipstick paint, a gold-painted box, a crown, a headdress, robes, boots, Yugui, Four Treasures of the Study, Chyi Chin, calligraphy and painting, etc.

Among these precious cultural relics, two gems are particularly eye-catching. They are the opals mentioned above. However, these two opals were not discovered by archaeologists, and their discovery was very dramatic. When archaeologists first entered the mausoleum, they found that the mausoleum had been flooded and many things were broken, so they immediately carried out rescue excavation. Two opals were washed away by water.

Later, while cooking, an old woman happened to find a dazzling light in the garbage dump. She dug up the soil and found that it was actually a dazzling treasure, so she immediately handed over the cultural relics to the archaeological team.

After the expert appraisal of the archaeological team, it was found that it was an extremely precious and rare cat's eye recorded in historical books, and suddenly it was ecstatic. Later, the archaeological team organized personnel to re-screen this pile of garbage and found another opal. It is very dramatic that the extremely precious opal should come from the garbage dump.
